1) Read and learn the word list. Write what weather do you prefer, what weather you don’t like. Why?

weather forecast — прогноз погоды;

temperature — температура;

weatherman — метеоролог;

thunderstorm — гроза;

thunder — гром;

lightning — молния;

shower — ливень;

fog — туман;

heat — жара;

wind — ветер;

frost — мороз;

snow — снег;

sunny — солнечный (день);

dull — пасмурный (день);

cool — прохладный (день).

nasty – ненастная;

freezing – очень холодная, леденящая;

frosty – морозная;

stormy – грозовая, бурная;

2) Read and translate the dialog:

— Good morning, Nick!

— Good morning, Ann! What a nice morning!

— The sun is coming out. It will be a sunny day.

— I there are no clouds in the sky. I think it will not be rain.

— I hope so, but it’s a windy day. We have to dress warmer.

— I agree, now it is easy to catch a cold.
