Life advice

Life advices. Part 2.

1. Never judge anyone by their first or last name
I'm sure that many of you reading this were a bit shocked by this. After all, if the first and last name is what makes you different, then surely the rest of the person would be a huge contrast as well?
I've often felt that people have this idea that you should just know everyone else's name, even if they seem quite different. However, it can actually backfire.
Think about it. The idea of being able to easily identify people by their first and last name is very important in the business world. People need to be able to quickly identify who they're dealing with and what their roles and responsibilities are. And if they can't, then how are they going to be able to communicate with them effectively? The person's name is their biggest attribute and it's also one of the most important things that people remember.

2. Eat well.

This is the most important advice I ever got. The truth is, I was a big believer in food. Eating well, getting enough sleep, not being stressed, avoiding caffeine and alcohol, eating only fresh food, exercising, etc... etc... The more I learned about food, and how much I really need it, the less I was concerned with the "diet" part, and how I could "eat" more when I was hungry. I became more and more focused on the mindset that I was eating better when I was hungry, and that my life would get better. The more I learned to eat like this, the less I felt guilty and less I wanted to do it
You can eat whatever you want in moderation. In fact, if you don't like the food, just don't eat it!
3. Do your research.
The last thing you want to do is to end up wasting a lot of time. The reason I always recommend you get research done is because you can't predict the worst case scenario for your business. If you are just starting out, you should research your competitor for at least one year before you start your own business. You'll be surprised how well you know your competitors. The better you know your competitors, the better you'll be able to assess your market, your competition, and your competitors' market. I would even go as far as to say that you should research your competitors' market too. Once you have your research in place, you can make an educated decision about what your business model is going to be.
