Notes Of The Young Writer

Even though we're different, I love you. 3.

Greetings my dear reader!
Make yourself at home.
I really hope that my stories will help you escape from the problems and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of my fantasies.

An eagle flew over the savanna, soaring high into the sky, cutting the wings in half. And each of the people of the Pride march or just a passing beast who looked at him, heard the eagle singing a song. Maybe it was just the wind howling, but some say that they managed to understand the words.

The eagle that flew past the eagle hid behind the clouds that were as thick as cotton candy. Meanwhile, a huge crowd of animals gathered in front of the rock of their ancestors. Making decorated a pedestal with flowers, on which the royal family would have to stand.

Elephants rehearsed their performance, antelope led by Bupu were going to march with the galley.

He conducted this herd of animals, Zazu, who just sat on a tree branch and watched the animals prepare for the holiday, and at the same time reported to Simba about everything happening.

The lion's Guard, however, helped To make with her jewelry. However, while Banga was looking for the right flowers, she stumbled upon an anthill. And moving aside, he did not mind taking a lunch break. While on the rock of his ancestors were preparing for the holiday, Kayon and Foley almost reached the river to drink water.

Here, frightened of everyone, Kayon's stomach decided to publish the sound of a dying whale.

-God, Kayon, you're hungry!

- Well, there isn't much.

After a while, our couple lurked in the bushes and chase their prey. A young antelope that was grazing peacefully in the bushes. The lion and cheetah were able to get rid of her by jumping on the prey.

While Kayon was eating, Foley was looking at him with a little smile. Kayon noticed this but said nothing to avoid ruining the moment.

- So, Kayon, shall we continue? Or are they waiting for us? - Closer up, Foley asked.

- Yes... of course. I think the guys can do it without us," said the lion, a little stuttering. So they got fed up and continued their journey.

- Foley...

- Yes, Kayon.

- Do you want me to show you a place? It's magical! - Kayon said a little quieter.

- With pleasure!

Kayon took Foley to the woods because there was that "magical" place! The sun was shining on the tops of trees and shrubs. Birds were chirping on their limbs, and the wind was rustling with leaves.

After some time they approached the river. The rapid flow of water carried various leaves and twigs by them time and again. The river was stony and had a steep bank, which consisted almost entirely of clay and fine sand.

Foley decided to come closer to see what was downstairs as she stood on the ledge and saw only half of the river.

- Foley, don't get too close, the shore was slippery! - Kayon said with some anxiety and care in his voice.

- Yeah, you're right... - Foley turned to the lion cub and wanted to get away from the edge, but suddenly, the back foot started slipping off, Foley lost her balance and hung on the edge of the cliff...

Kayon grabbed her by her front paws and slowly pulled her over. The Foley ledge began to fall apart, and the rocks flew into the bubbling river.

- KAYON! - Foley shouted with horror on her face and grabbed her friend as hard as she could.

- Hold on, just a little longer!

Suddenly, a stone of decent size snapped off a ledge that was above them and hit Kayon on the head. He almost fainted from the blow to the back of his head, accidentally relaxed his paws, and Foley slipped out of his arms. Kayon's head was spinning and his neck was sick as hell. Meanwhile, the flow of water was taking Foley further and further away.

- FULLY! - Kayon ran along the river right behind his girlfriend.

The cheetah carried away a swift current. Foley couldn't swim, and we all know how she felt about the water.

At the very moment when Kayon couldn't hold on to it, and it fell into the water, Foley just flew all her life in front of her eyes. And now she didn't know what to do. She was just pawing, trying to stay afloat. Foley tried to grab on to the protruding rocks, but they were too slippery.

- KAYON! - Shouting out Foley, choking on the water, screaming. Everything was spinning and spinning, and Foley was covering it with a wave, or even just carrying it downstream.

Kayon had been running along the shore all along, not knowing how to help. So, the lion was a little ahead of the current and, on a small turn, pushed back and jumped into the water. Having dug out of the deep abyss, the lion cub started looking for a companion.

The bull was on the other side of the river, and Kayon couldn't get close to it, as they were separated by rocks. But after five minutes of clumsy attempts to swim, Kayon was still able to get to his girlfriend.

The Foley had already exhausted herself by then. Kayon put her on his back so that Foley wouldn't fall. The lion was trying to stand up more steady, but the current was so strong that it was knocking him down. Unexpectedly for them, the river began to expand rapidly, and the guys were in the middle of it.

Turned his head, Kayon saw that the river was running out, and there was WATERWAY in front! Somehow the young prince and his companion began to move closer to the shore. The cliff was very steep, so it was impossible to climb...

Foley, lying on the back of a lion cub, closed her eyes from fatigue and pain, and Kayon continued to fight for their lives. The fall was only minutes away. So Kayon decided to tell them something right now.

- Foley!

- Yes... - the cheetah barely said.

- If we don't survive, I want you to know...

- What's that? - Sighs.

- I like you very much... and always have!

- Oh, Kayon, that's so sweet! I like you too, having been cheerful and forgotten about the impending fall, answered Foley and hugged Kayon by the neck.

And so, the last huge boulders covered in moss began to appear, and behind them... Bubbling water, branches, rocks, everything that fell into the foggy lowland.

Kayon got as close as possible to the shore, where the current was a little slower. The boulders could not be grabbed, they were covered with moss, so the lion's paws slid.

Suddenly, unexpectedly for Foley, Kayon turned over on his back, and his girlfriend took off on his chest...

- What are you doing? - scared, Foley said.

- I'm saving you... It was 5-10 meters to the waterfall!

And they were getting closer and closer to the inevitable fall. And so, friends were on the edge, the water just went out from under the paws and fell to the bottom ... was terrible ...

Kayon, I looked at Foley, and in his gaze, you could read fear, pain, despair... it scared her even more than they could collapse from a height right now. With his strength and half hanging from the cliff, Kayon through Foley as high as possible to make her fall ashore.

The cheetah almost fell, but holding on to a small shrub, she was able to climb out onto land. After a little shaking off and calming down, Foley turned around with a smile, thinking that Kayon was standing behind her and everything was fine with him too, but... what she saw wasn't like what she thought.

Foley looked at the waterfall cliff. The rocks and twigs were still falling, the water was still bubbling, but Kayon was nowhere to be seen.

Foley's eyes were filled with tears, and she sank to the ground, couldn't stand, and sobbed quietly in the grass with her face. The unbearable pain was breaking her heart, and her eyes were getting darker... Tears were pouring out like a bucket.

- No... You couldn't... why?! - wiping her paws with tears, screaming Foley. But nobody heard her, only the echoes answered her, from somewhere in the rocks.

At the bottom of the waterfall, there was a small lake of sky blue with white sand like snow. Foley came down the ledge on which she stood and went to the lake, hoping to see her best friend for the last time.

For her, the world ceased to exist, in an instant. The sky got dark, the clouds began to thicken, and somewhere the thunder was thundering, but Foley wasn't paying any attention to it anymore... grief-stricken...she continued to go to the lake.

... to be continued...
