Prospects of space exploration.
Following the current information wave, an industrial wave of space exploration and use awaits us. Understanding this circumstance, as well as many other properties of the phenomenon of cosmonauts, often leads to the revival and rethinking of some old and almost forgotten conjectures and hypotheses.
According to Tünen, the economic development of any territory goes from the center city to the periphery. First, a kind of reconnaissance is carried out, opportunities and resources of the territory are identified, then industry moves there, and the city remains the managing and coordinating center. Something similar is being done in space, and the center is the whole planet Earth, which will remain the center of management, scientific thought, advanced technology and technology to live in the space "periphery", removing the excessive burden of industry, becoming an environmentally comfortable home for people.
All this is true. But I forgot to mention another space industry, which, frankly speaking, I would like not to mention at all - the military industry, the militarization of outer space. In the 1930s, residents of several U.S. cities once panicked from their homes into the suburbs and countryside, clogging up highways and railroads. They took seriously the radio show directed by Orson Welles based on the novel "The War of the Worlds" by Herbert Welles - the invasion of sprute-shaped Martians on Earth. Now everyone knows that on Mars there are not only no belligerent intelligent creatures, but apparently even the simplest bacteria. The threat from space comes from the humans themselves.
In the same years, on the slope of life, he wrote his small philosophical essays (preserved in the manuscript) Tsiolkovsky, who can rightly be called the first humanist of space. He is convinced that the successful and fruitful exploration of the universe is impossible without the solidarity and mutual assistance of people - both those who go into space and those who remain on Earth.
The space explored to date has been rendered lifeless. But it already reveals to the man a lot of its riches - energetic, material, spatial. It is difficult to master, but also promising. The civilization of the second type, which we mentioned, that is, the quite developed space civilization, which is intended to be the humanity of the XXI century, is incompatible with its own internal antagonisms. Disjointed social forces are not enough to master the forces of the universe. We would like to believe that revealing the grandeur of the tasks and opportunities offered by space science and technology, cosmonauts, will contribute to the social unity of the inhabitants of planet Earth on the principles of humanism, reason, justice, that is, those qualities that are the only worthy of Homo sapiens, turning into Homo cosmicus.
