1. A. Schwarzenegger, "My Unbelievably True Life Story"
Evaluation: 5 Limitations: No. Genre: Memoirs
An extremely curious book about the life and success of the world-famous man. And interesting above all by his assessments of certain events and people. What Arnie told about himself and his family was not a revelation to me. Or, to be more precise, he did not open up to me from any unusual or unexpected side - everything is quite expected. But it was still interesting to read. A life rich in events, of course.
Conclusion: I think it will be interesting to everyone.
2. E. Casey, H-L. Casey: "There is no death. Another door of God"
Evaluation: 4 Limitations: No. Genre: Unidentified
Edgar Casey is one of the most interesting people of the 20th century. A man in a trance (which is why he was called a "sleeping prophet") gave a lot of forecasts and predictions, both petty and related to the past and future of the entire planet, and many of them came true. Not surprisingly, he still has a lot of fans and people just interested in his phenomenon. I would treat myself to the latter as well. Although the book did not give a third of the answers to my questions, it was still curious. At any rate, it described some real moments and how Casey read the information. Again, I'm curious. And I received a few answers because his son formally wrote it, but in reality - a friend of his son, who talked to Edgar Casey. Therefore, there is a lot of excess in her.
Conclusion: it is quite possible to read.
5. D. Khalezov "September 11, Third Truth"
Evaluation: 4 Limitations: No. Genre: conspiracy, versions, history
I like to get acquainted with various interesting conspiracy versions. The emphasis on the word is interesting. For me, these are the ones that are logical, verified and confirmed by a good (albeit controversial) evidence base. And such, as you all understand, is not very much. Most often, the authors just "rubbing some game on us" according to the principle "believe us on our word". Khalezov's work refers to interesting conspiracy. I read with pleasure, although I do not agree with the main message or with the conclusions. But it is quite interesting. So I can easily advise - the book is very small
Conclusion: quite even.
6. K. Cheremnykh "Clans of America. Experience of geopolitical operational analytics".
Evaluation: 4 Limitations: No. Genre: conspiracy, versions, geopolitics
I can't tell you how I feel about this book. On the one hand, it is possible to emphasize a lot of curious, or, at least, forcing to think and double-check. And on the other hand...well, I don't know - some kind of a mess. There is no clear logic and structure. About everything and nothing. So it's more like no than yes. High praise is sole because the author is knowledgeable and collected a lot of material for the book.
Conclusion: I think you shouldn't waste your time on it after all.
7. I. Larin-Podolsky. "Anniversary and commemorative coins of the world. Illustrated Encyclopedia"
Evaluation: 5 Limitations: No. Genre: numismatics
A well-designed, beautiful and informative book. Exactly what I love is a good combination of printing, necessary information, and photos. Without too much and too much. Written easily and simply - so you can read people, even far from the love of coins and collecting money.
Conclusion: a good book for reading and for a gift.
8. S. Zharkov. "Vikings"
Evaluation: 5 Limitations: No. Genre: History
A good, strong and quality book. It is clear that the author lovingly wrote it and knows what it is about. But there are a few But. The first is the volume. It could be reduced and significantly. The second is polygraphy and lack of visibility. Still, it is not a scientific treatise - but a book designed for a wide range of readers. It is clear that this publishing house decided to save some money, but it is in vain. And so - quite a good book
Conclusion: you can read to everyone
9. Swords and sabers. Gift editions. Weapons from Exmo
Evaluation: 5 Limitations: No. Genre: weapons, history
It's a good gift edition. Colorful, visual, interesting.
Conclusion: A good gift
10. Whiskey. More than 150 best brands, varieties, and blends from spicy-sweet to strong aged. Translation from English by N. Goncharova.
Evaluation: 4 Limitations: no. Genre: whiskey, distilling
A small book in size and format, which tells a little about the main distilleries of the world, and the most common varieties of this noble drink. A kind of mini-encyclopedia. I love this format, but I'm not sure that it will be interesting to many people.
Conclusion: On a theme lover
