Penguin

These animals live exclusively in the Southern Hemisphere. All 17 species. The giant among all penguins is the Imperial one. Its height is up to 120 cm. And the weight can exceed 27 kg. Penguins don't like walking on loose snow, so in times of high temperatures they slide on their stomachs, pushing their feet and wings.

If suddenly the bird doesn't find something to eat from above, it can sink into the ocean at a depth of 200 m. To be more precise, only the royal penguin can do so.

Rocky penguins, isn't that a strange name? The thing is that they like to plunge into the water from the rocks. Only this kind of birds do so.

Babies are born with absolutely no wool. It grows in a few weeks. And the feathers, without which any penguin can't imagine his life, are waterproof during the first year.
