Siberian husks come from the vast expanses of Siberia, so people had to tame the dogs, who will be not only friends, but also assistants. In conditions of terrible cold and poor cross-country ability, the Eskimos needed hardy dogs to transport cargo and move in sleigh.
These beautiful and friendly animals, loved by many, come from wild wolves. That's why husks are so wilful! Chukchas had to put a lot of effort into taming them.
Unbelievable, but this breed has survived to this day only because of the interest of Americans who need additional labor. Dogs became particularly popular in the 1930s, during the golden rush. The very name "Husky" comes from a distorted American "Eskimo", which means "Eskimos". Unfortunately, after the revolution of 1917 these dogs were recognized as useless and almost completely removed from Kamchatka.

Husky are medium sized dogs. They have a very outstanding head and powerful muscular legs. Eyes are mostly brown or blue, but sometimes there are dogs with different colors of iris. Tails slightly resemble foxes. This breed is very harmonious and proportionate. Their wool is usually a combination of black, grey and white wool. Often you can see white spots on the muzzle of a husky that look like a mask. Sometimes there are brown or black dogs, and less often pure white dogs. But not all snow-white husks are albinos. If the eyes are blue, it is considered normal, if the eyes are red, then the albino.
With proper care Huskies can serve their master with faith and truth and please him from 11 to 16 years old. To do this, you need to ensure proper nutrition and high physical activity for your pet.

Although the dogs of this breed are friendly, they are very willful and stubborn. To become a real master for a Husky, a man must have a strong character and willpower, because the rights of a leader will have to fight for. Wolf's blood makes itself felt.
About the activity of Husky can be said that their energy is inexhaustible. In order to make a dog more flexible, you need to tire him out enough. In winter you can put your pet in a sled or sled, and in summer you can ride bicycles together. You can also arrange long walks and even jogging in the fresh air. If you don't take care of your dog, the husky will be too playful.
The attitude of these dogs to children was laid down by the Eskimos. In the north, having a baby was a big challenge because of the cold, so when this miracle happened, a pack of dogs was let in from the street to keep the baby warm with their warm wool. So there is no fear that the dog will harm the child. But before leaving the child alone with the dog, it is worth watching his behaviour.
