Continuation...

Cat didn't want to go to the roof at all. She went to the room, looking out the window with
sadness. Alice ran up to her:

- I'm sorry to leave you again. But I think Mom was starting to worry. So I'll run home.
-
Nobody's keeping you here, - Cat said monotonously, leaning on the window sill.
- Then I`ll see you tomorrow! - Alice waved her hand.

The girl ran away. The blonde girl did not watch her for long. Suddenly her stomach rustled. "
It's time for a refreshment!" - With a sneer the Cat thought to herself, having found a red stone on her chest.

Jumping out of an open window, the beige cat ran across the street, crossing the roadway. It was rush hour, which means that there must be a lot of people with food in their hands. But most of all these
naive people go to the park to feed pigeons. The cat knew this from experience.

Expectations really came true. Looking for a "
victim", the piercing look of the animal stared at a group of children walking with adults. And in the hands of the minors were different bags of food, which they had recently bought in the store. "Well, that's lucky!" - The cat got pretty murmured about itself by running up to them.

- Oh, look! - Someone squealed out of the crowd of kids.

- What a
cute cat! - Someone slammed his hands.

A few children stopped looking at the
furry animal. Someone had already gotten some food out of their bags to buy it, but a fat woman in an expensive fur coat with a rough wrinkled face shouted at the children:

- Don't touch that thing! You don't know where it's been!

"Don't interfere, aunt, you
scare away my prey!" - The cat hissed in her thoughts. The kids were disappointed to put their food back, moving on. But still, a little girl of about eight years old put a piece of bread right next to the "nice" creation.
- Oh, thank you! - I couldn't stand it, so I thanked the cat.

-
So you also talk? - The girl jumped up and down joyfully.

- Vera, let's go! - suddenly a little girl was called in by the same first-grader. - Cats don't know how to talk, they are too stupid for that!

"I will come to you in nightmares to show you how stupid you are!" - The Cat joked to herself by pinching the baby right by the leg. He
squealed and ran away. The girl laughed and ran after her friend.

"Who else would he play?" - The beige cat asked herself.

"I won't hold back with greetings. I only want to ask one question to the Dog. How could he not have noticed that there was one
traitor among his gang members who was serving me faithfully and obediently? Is the leader so blind?
I will not say the name of the traitor. May you all move the gyrus of your brain over this. You may think I'm kidding, but it's actually true. But you may not believe me. It's up to you to decide.
A lion."

After reading this
strange letter, Alice lay down on the bed, reading it again. Maybe by handwriting, you can find out who wrote this letter?

- Alice, go to dinner! - her mother's voice called.

The girl got up sluggishly and wandered to the door. All her thoughts were so busy with
this threat that she didn't notice how hungry she was. The kitchen smelled delicious.

- Dad's going to be late on the business trip,- Mom said when she saw Alice.

-
Again,- Alice sighed tiredly as she sat at the table.

Kati's place was empty. I'm sure I sat down with my girlfriends again. Sometimes it seemed to Alice that her sister spends all her free time at their house, but almost never at home. Nights there, food there, everything there.
Even strange.

There were
pancakes for dinner, which my mother used to cook all the time. Alice ate them quickly. The taste was the same as yesterday. At least once in a normal day, there was something else instead of these pancakes! But dreams are dreams.

- Look,- Mom remembered, -it's not hard for you to go to my bedroom? There's a phone on the nightstand. I'm afraid if I step back, the pie will burn.

- I'm coming,- Alice squeezed out.

The bedroom was right next to the opposite door at the entrance to the bathroom, at the beginning of the corridor. As she entered this
dark and slightly frightening room, she started looking for the phone. The only light source in the room was a lamp on the same pedestal as the phone. So the room was only lit up in one direction.

When she approached the cabinet, she began to look for the phone. The phone was felt, but Alice accidentally pushed it right off the edge, and it
fell noisily on the carpet.

- Oh, damn it,- Alice said, squatting on her squat, - I wish she hadn't crashed!

Fortunately, luckily, the phone was intact. Something flashed under the cabinet. Lifting the phone from the floor, the girl reached out to the strange object, grabbing it. The dust made it difficult to see what it was at first. But after erasing a thick layer of dust, Alice realized she was holding a
family photo. Next to her young mother stood a tall and slender man, and next to them a little girl with golden hair and emerald eyes.

"Mom used to say that she was married to another man..." -Alice remembered,- "the photo must have just fallen out of the album, and everyone forgot about it. Alice put the family photo back under the drawer, thinking it was better not to tell her mother. She was already so worried about the death of her loved one, and then her daughter ran away from home, but still managed to find happiness with someone else. Mom obviously wouldn't like that Alice interfered in her
family affairs.

The girl brought her phone, put it on the kitchen table and went to her humble place of residence - the room. There was a
mysterious letter on the bed.
