Continuation...

The rock fell noisily on the floor, but it didn't break. It also remained intact. This is quite strange, considering that if you touch him with your hand, it seems that he is very fragile. Soon the stone was lit up again, but not in blue, but in blood. The boy was frightened of this transformation, not understanding anything. But after a moment the stone shone blue again.

- It's pretty strange,- thought Eric.

Picking up the stone in the shape of a dog, the boy felt as if he was
warming it. - Wonders and miracles, that's all! - Eric smiled at himself, forgetting his anger and rage.

- Eric! - suddenly his mother called him. - My father and I decided to give you a
little present!

The boy joyfully put a stone in his pocket and ran to his parents. They were sitting in the living room waiting for him.

- We'll take you somewhere,- Dad said mysteriously.

Eric smiled. A gift! Yesterday the amusement park, but what about today? A movie? The theatre? How can I look forward to seeing this
surprise!

The mother stayed in the house, and the father took his son outside. There they were waiting for Daddy's friend, who would take them in his car where they needed to go.

They drove for about an hour. They drove so far that the city was far behind. The forest had already begun, and the dusk was thickening. And the guy was getting more and more uncomfortable with these
horrible paintings and the pumping atmosphere...

- Here we are,- my father finally announced.

Eric looked around.
The darkness was at least an eye pierced, the city was far away, and the area was unfamiliar... There were no houses here either.

- And where is the gift? - Eric asked me disappointed.

- Go over there,- Dad waved his hand towards the forest. - My friend and I will pump up the tires and catch up with you.

The boy nodded. He obediently walked out of the car and went where he was shown his hand. Suddenly I heard the roar of the engine and the car moved. A
terrible thought began to slice through my mind...

- Wait! Wait! - Eric screamed.

But the car has already gone beyond the horizon in a couple of seconds. The boy rushed after him, but no matter how fast he ran, the car was very far away. And then Eric realized that he was left all alone. At night. In a
deserted place where no one would help him! His parents used their son's own gullibility for terrible purposes!

The boy did not know how much he was standing there. An hour? Two hours? Or maybe just ten minutes? But he could not move. The whole body was pierced with
fear and horror and never let go for a second. He didn't know which way the house, the city, or any other residential settlement was going! It was a wasteland surrounded by a thick and wild forest. It was also impossible to see anything in the darkness! The owl's breath could be mistaken for the forest and the shadows of the trees for the predators...

Eric started
screaming. Screaming like never before. But nobody heard him. But there was something else I had to do! And suddenly he got into his pocket, felt the same blue stone in the shape of a dog. The glow of this mysterious object was enough to make it easier to see the vast wasteland. At least now it's less scary.

- Damn it!- Eric yelled angrily. - What the hell did I do?! Why did I
deserve it?!

Feeling
helpless, the boy sat on a damp and icy ground. It was cold. He was tired. He wants to eat and drink. And on top of that, he was scared. What if there are animals of prey or maniacs here? Suddenly, a small stream of tears came out of the boy's eyes.

-
I want to go home,- he whispered helplessly. - I just want to find my way home...

The stone in the boy's hands has
shone approvingly. The light became brighter and brighter. Soon he became so bright and shiny that he almost blinded Eric's glow. In a moment, the stone became transparent, losing all its power, and then it completely dissolved into thin air.

The boy got up and looked around. Now he saw not a frightening wasteland surrounded by a wild forest, but a
familiar territory. It was as if he had been here once... And he smelled a car that had been going through here for an hour.

"I'm sure it's Dad's friend's car that brought me here!" - Eric wanted to say something, but instead of saying it, he heard a
dog barking... And it was only now that the boy noticed that he was standing on four shaggy paws, like his whole body. And the whole world seemed to fade away, faded.
