Knowledge of communication channels and help people to get good results in their work. Communication between two people can be very difficult. Whether we are trying to please each other or come to an agreement, or simply to perform roles that they find inappropriate in this situation. Answers to these questions will only be found when we understand the nature of the interaction between people.

The result can be interpreted in such a way that from the beginning there is some non-social behavior, and then something social is imposed on it. One cannot first study the personality and then fit into the system of social relations. The person, on the one hand, is already a "product" of these social ties, and on the other hand, their creator is an active creator.

The level of a person's relations with the world is very different: each individual enters into a relationship, but entire groups also enter into a relationship with each other, and thus the person is the subject of numerous and diverse relationships. These relations are called social or group relations. The structure of social relations is studied by sociology. The sociological theory reveals certain types of different social relations.

Their specificity lies in the fact that in them it is not easy for an individual to meet an individual and treat each other, but for individuals as representatives of certain social groups (classes, professions, as well as political parties). Such relations are built not on the basis of sympathies and antipathies, but on the basis of a certain position occupied by everyone in the system of society. This is the relationship between social groups or between individuals as representatives of these social groups.

Social relations are impersonal in nature, their essence is not in the interaction of specific individuals, but rather in the interaction of social roles. As it was said above, communication is a specific form of interaction of a person with other people as members of society, social relations of people are realized in communication.

There are three interrelated aspects to communication: the communicative aspect of communication is the exchange of information between people; the interactive aspect is the organization of interaction between people, when it is necessary to coordinate actions, influence behavior, distribute functions; the perceptual aspect of communication includes the process of perception of each other by the partners in communication and establishment of mutual understanding on this basis.

The social role is the fixation of a certain position that an individual occupies in the system of social relations. More specifically, the role is understood to be a function, a normative approved pattern of behavior, expected of everyone occupying this position.

The nature of interpersonal relations can be understood correctly if they are not placed on the same level as social relations, but rather if they contain a special series of relations arising within each type of social relations, not outside them. Schematically, this can be represented as a section of a special plane of the system of social relations: what is found in this "section" of economic, social, political and other relations is interpersonal relations.

The existence of interpersonal relations within various forms of social relations is the realization of impersonal relations in the activities of specific people, in acts of communication and interaction. The proposed structure of relations generates the most important consequence. For each participant of interpersonal relations, these relations may seem to be the only reality of any relations at all.

Despite the fact that in the process of interpersonal and, hence, public relations people exchange thoughts and realize their relations, this awareness does not go beyond the meaning of the fact that people have entered into interpersonal relations. Interpersonal relations are the real reality of social relations. They are not somewhere "pure" social relations. The nature of interpersonal relations essentially differs from the nature of public relations: their important feature is their emotional basis. Therefore, interpersonal relations can be considered as a factor of the psychological climate of the group.
