Confirm tire pressure

According to the temperature, the tire pressure will be more severe than expected, so it needs to be carefully inspected (ideally, before each ride, at least once a month), if the road is driving, it will be 10% less than the specified tire pressure.

The tire pressure gauge is not too expensive. It is a must-have item. It can also be used for air pumping with a bicycle, but it should be measured when the tire is cold before driving.

The tire pressure specified by the motorcycle factory will be attached to the rocker arm. Please confirm carefully.

Adjust the position of the lever & pedal

The distance between the drawbars will affect the handling of the brakes and the clutch. Although the distance is relatively close, it will make people feel better to control, but it will not. If you set a farther place, you can use the "snap" to operate, improve the control performance, and the height of the tie rod. (Angle) also affects the riding position, this can also be adjusted (factory settings are mostly low).

If you step on the pole, you can adjust to the height of the easier movement according to the customary inclination or side-hanging posture. The type of boots or shoes (the thickness of the sole) will also change the handling. This also needs to be adjusted.

It is recommended to set the lever to a farther place. When the finger is straight, the first joint of the middle finger is placed on the lever, which makes it easier to control.

In the case of a cable clutch, the rotation of the lever base can be used to adjust the clearance when the lever is operated.

When moving the waist side to the side of the bend, if the pedal is too low, the toe of the outside foot will not step on the pedal, which increases the difficulty of handling. Rotating the knob on the rear link of the pedal can be easily adjusted, but some models are not so simple, you need to ask the car to help.

Whether the clothes fit

Many knights like to choose the size of the bigger one to be easy to move. Hard hats also affect the line of sight

Loose safety helmets may make people feel more relaxed, but if they shake during acceleration and deceleration, they will obscure the line of sight. Some people in professional cars will choose M size when traveling, and choose S size when playing.

Chain tension adjustment

If it is loose, it will be adjusted. However, if the gap of the chain is too large, the impact caused by acceleration and deceleration will be relatively large. When the bend is right, the throttle cannot be turned quickly. It can't smooth in nature. On the contrary, if it is too tight, it will hinder the rocker's movement. The performance of the rear shock absorber of the engine is easy to slip when passing through the uneven road or turning the throttle. The dirt and rust will also change the gap. Please don't forget to clean the lubrication chain.

The tightness of the chain can be confirmed by the label attached to the rocker arm.

Be sure to stop the engine and enter the neutral position to confirm. Place your finger in the middle of the front sprocket (engine side) and rear sprocket (rear-wheel side) and push up to confirm.

Motorcycle stretching

Relaxing body strength is the basics of driving, but when the joints and muscles are still very stiff, it will not be able to smooth the body strength, and the range of joint movement can be reduced, and it is impossible to control smoothly.

At this time, you can use the faucet and pedals of the motorcycle to carry out the stretching exercise, turn off the fire in a flat place, and then move the gear into the first gear before stretching and lacing, in addition to the time before departure, you can also find time during the break. Place your back on the seat cushion and straighten your arms to relax the muscles of the shoulder blades to the waist. You are to relax your strength and put your weight on the motorcycle. People with high blood pressure should not be forced.

Sit on the motorcycle, hold the faucet and the seat of the seat cushion, and turn the upper body. If you are uncomfortable with the foot, kick the side column first.
