Self-knowledge and first impression - Part one

Many marketing books will tell you that the first impression of others is important, but how do you create a good first impression?

However, there are more people to contact. From the perspective of the respondent, I still need to pay attention to some things.

Whether it is cooperation, submitting an application or conducting business negotiations, self-knowledge is a key link. Many people may feel that their knowledge is not wrong.

There are still many common problems when interviewing or chatting with different friends.

1. Too passive

I am not very good at expressing myself to squeeze toothpaste, ask a few words and say a few words.

I met this interview in an interview. I don't think I will come to the interview.

I asked him to go to work.

2. No details, but the details are serious.

The problem is not everything, every experience, the other party is ready to listen.

3. Pay too much attention to personal ability, personal level and performance.

In fact, some interviews advocate this skill and lead the topic to areas where they are good at and ready so that they can develop their talents.

Honestly, this will affect some novice interviewers. If you have an experienced interviewer, this is actually counterproductive and the impression is poor.

4. Lack of empathy

So how do you introduce yourself? I think there are several principles.

1. Clear goals

You want the other person to know what you are, you want the other person to know you or assess your identity, and then list the goals first. Primary goals, secondary goals, your time, your content should focus primarily on the goals, and should not be used excessively for preparation and presentation beyond the goals.

For different communication objects, the goals are actually different.

For example, what is your goal?

Workplace interview, what is your goal? Compared with job interviews, HR and technical interviewers, your goals are still different, and the content of self-knowledge should also be focused and understandable.

2. Understand the appeal

Why do you want to know each other, what is the basis of communication, at what level, in what context, and in what context? Think about what the other person will be interested in and what to ask for.

If another person is a girl who makes friends, what does she want to know?
If the other party is an investor, what does he want to know?
If the other party is a human resources interviewer, what is he worried about?
If the other party is a technical interviewer, what is he worried about?

Before you talk about it, please consider it and then list it.

Of course, it is difficult to judge from the beginning, but at least there should be a general direction concept. In communication, we must gradually understand the adjustment. When answering the other party's questions, please share your focus, understand the attraction and reorganize your content.

3. Leaving the room

There may be conclusions and results before too detailed content, and the process is not yet sure whether the other party is interested in asking detailed questions and then taking appropriate action.

4. Reliability considerations

Maybe every word you say is right, but some things go beyond common sense and common sense.

Therefore, how to prove your honesty requires a series of evidence.

In fact, many times the circle is not big, and many friends, such as mentioning the specific results you have made, can be mentioned correctly.
