Interview with the employer, six steps to success

What to do for a beginner if the employer has invited him for an interview. The first step: Listen to yourself and decide on the field of activity you are interested in. If the option under consideration is appropriate, set your consciousness to a positive one. Unproductive thoughts such as: "This is a formal invitation, they probably have their own person. Who needs me? Who will take me?", inspire uncertainty, cause confusion, reduce motivation to look for a job. The second step: Prepare the necessary documents in advance: passport, military card, diploma of education and professional retraining, certificate of professional development, employment record book, taxpayer identification number, certificate of mandatory pension insurance, health insurance policy, sanitary book (if required). What to do for a beginner if the employer has invited him for an interview.

The first step:

Listen to yourself and decide on the field of activity you are interested in. If the option under consideration is appropriate, set your consciousness to a positive one. Unproductive thoughts such as: "This is a formal invitation, they probably have their own person. Who needs me? Who will take me?", inspire uncertainty, cause confusion, reduce motivation to look for a job.

The second step:

Prepare the necessary documents in advance: passport, military card, diploma of education and professional retraining, certificate of professional development, employment record book, taxpayer identification number, certificate of mandatory pension insurance, health insurance policy, sanitary book (if required).

The third step:

Prepare a resume with a photo, where to make a little individuality to attract the attention of the HR manager. For example, bold typeface or unusual design. Classic version of the resume has the following sections: name, surname, patronymic, year of birth, marital status, address of registration, citizenship, contact phone number, e-mail, the name of the job, which is claimed by the applicant, education (including courses, seminars, training), professional experience, starting from the last place of work (the date of entry, departure, the name of the organization, the type of activity, the position occupied, duties), professional skills, additional information.

The fourth step:

Think about the image before going to the interview. Important business style clothes, neatness, focus, accuracy, discreet make-up.

The fifth step:

Think about the answers to the questions that are usually asked at the interview:

Tell us a little about yourself and your family (parents, close relatives where you studied worked)

Your idea of the position you're applying for. Why do you think you can handle it well? What is the basis for your confidence?

What makes you leave your previous job? How long have you worked there? How did you find a job there? Your salary is at your last job.

Name your main professional and personal qualities.

What do you think are your personal shortcomings?

Your idea of our organization.

Have you received any recent job offers? Which kind of job is it? If so, why did you refuse?

Your level of computer skills. Programs.

How long do you think you need time to adapt to your new job?

Who can give you recommendations?

Your favorite activities, hobbies, besides work.

What kind of salary do you expect?

How long will it take you to get to your place of work?

Your requirements for the place of work as it should be.

Step six:

Stay in the interview position: "Less emotion, more information". Do not give in to provocations during the interview. Sometimes a human resources representative uses techniques that make the applicant nervous: interrupts, caught by questions "in the forehead", causes frankness.

It is necessary to be calm about any change in the situation, to exclude intrusive gestures, words, parasites, sudden gusty movements, nervous laughter. If the applicant is very worried, the interviewer may think that the candidate has something to hide.

At the end of the interview, it is necessary to ask about the size of the future salary, benefits, social package, conditions of the probationary period.
