Well, yes, we return a little ' to the past with fishing in the city, a fishing that is very particular, for those who are used to fishing lost in nature made of trees and grass. It might seem strange, but urban fishing has some special features, the place in the first place: fishing in the city can be fun, we can meet many people who stop there to look at us a little ' amazed or, the most beautiful thing, run into some nice fish that you do not expect…
I chose two spots for the fishing in the city, a smaller one on a spring beautiful is the Fibbio in San Martino Buon Albergo just outside Verona, where I have the office and the office of PescaOk, and the other in a stretch of the river wider, in the city of love: yes, right in the centre of Verona!

San Martino is a quiet town near Verona, with beautiful streams that wind through all its extension; the water is spring, pure, clear and with a backdrop with beautiful herbs. The nice thing is that in the city there are beautiful brown trout that run free and with very few fishermen who chase them, so I would say that it is a great place.
During the release of which I want to tell you, as equipment I chose a barrel 2,10 mt the Molix Trout Hunter 3-12, an excellent nylon thread Sufix SUPER 21 from 0,20 and artificial rotating burst.
I must say that the rod was at its first caught and I immediately found myself Well; the casting is a bit ' undersized, the rod is beautiful rigidina, with fast and tip Action, a true and relentless trout rod.
I used mainly artificial rotating from 6 and 9 grams and even in current I felt the artificial very well; the tip of the Molix perfectly copies the vibrations of the Rotary allowing you to have maximum sensitivity even on the most timid touches.
And just in these cases the equipment makes a difference. In fact, when there are timid touches and apathetic Trout, a rod with which you do not feel the touches does not allow you to understand where the fish are. It is easy when the dry blow comes and the ferrata is done but it becomes difficult when the trout chases and shyly touches the bait... here I must say that I realized that this rod was perfect in this situation and in fact I took my beautiful headlight.
Spinning in any condition is a difficult fishing, it is a fishing of sensitivity and those who live it like me as a passion, savor all the details that it offers. It gives me more satisfaction a day with a smart and difficult trout, which makes me suffer to catch it, than 10 “easy " Trout”…
When we talk about fishing in environments like this, it is the details that make the difference, we need to think not only about the rod and reel, but about the fishing system: rod, reel, wire and bait.
Our arm must be attached to the bait, I have to feel the bait in this fishery, the sensitivity is all... it comes with experience but this is one of the reasons for the braided lines have had a great success, because they allow you to directly connect the arm to the bait with their direct transmission of vibration. But I chose to fish with classic nylon to 100% test the rod.

But the fishing trip is not over because after San Martino, we moved for the remaining hours of the afternoon in Verona, my city. The thing that excites me is the fact of fishing in the midst of the people to do chat and perhaps meet an old fisherman that tells you the Adige in its time... And so I feel like crying, why we were ruining it as well and this should make us understand that everything that you throw into the river, it to you spits out with violence; we must respect nature, because nature is stronger than any man who wants to destroy it.
Let's start with a little throwing, we know it will be hard but the day is beautiful; we have a stretch of about 2 km to do with the barrel and the backpack, to beat centimeter by centimeter, and so much desire to catch a beautiful trout.
After several dozen pitches in the subriva I decide to go more to the center, although the current is strong and the water is not the maximum, but I do not want to knock myself down.
I take a break from throwing and look around; I see the city that lives, people, palaces, sculptures, it's really fascinating. A couple of passers-by ask me what I fish, whether I fished and what license it takes to fish there. If we forget for a moment what fishing is, in this environment people immediately remind you: socialization, union, movement, oxygen for the brain…
But while we are distracted by nature, it recalls us and at the hook we find a beautiful trout; it does not look like a trout intake, but unfortunately after a few turns of crank it slama and I lose my trophy of the day, really a shame. But I do not give up and half an hour later (it's good time) I set sail a beautiful iris, placing I think, that takes off my coat.
The day goes on; I am immersed in nature and I almost forget the daily thoughts and worries: this is a beautiful thing, because beyond the catches, beyond everything, fishing manages to give us peace of mind and I would like to thank these modes of fishing that really offer a big diversion to everyday life.
I also think about my alternative lunch break, half an hour of fishing and a nice walk in the city.
Despite the daily grind, we need to learn how to carve out some space, and even a lunch break can be a good time to fish.
In addition, for fishing in the city, with about 160 euros I bought excellent equipment, so I would say that this is an activity within the reach of all fishermen.

Finally, I advise you to always use swivels with Triple carabiner, if you fish with artificial, because if the swivel does not turn Well no wire, nylon or braided is free from rolling.
