Botanical description. Oats are a cultivated plant that is cultivated everywhere. This cereal, like all cereals, grows vertically and carries spikelets consisting of 2-4 flowers at the end of the hollow stem. Spikelets are located on the peduncle and in turn form a broom. Oat grains (more precisely, oat grains) are surrounded by scales, which they do not combine with. By the way, oats are different from wheat, barley and rye. Blossoms from June to August. In Germany, it is cultivated everywhere, its crop is possible even at an altitude of 1600 m above sea level. Oats are specially grown for the homeopathic tincture of Avena sativa, as it requires fresh flowering plants.
The active ingredients. Important amino acids, B vitamins, minerals such as phosphorus, iron, cobalt, manganese, zinc, aluminium, potassium and other vitamins such as vitamins K and E, as well as provitamin A, boron and iodine, are of great importance for diet. No other medicinal plant contains as much zinc as oats; silicic acid justifies the use of oat straw as a bathing product. However, for medicine, along with all these components, the substance that has soothing properties is of great importance: the indole alkaloid Avenin.
Healing effect and application. There is no doubt that oatmeal flakes and other oat products are of great use in conditions of weakness, malnutrition and as dietary food for countless ailments. However, the calming effect of oat extracts is of particular interest here. The infusion can be prepared by pouring the oat grain with diluted wine alcohol in a ratio of 1:10, but it is better to use the homeopathic tincture Avena sati-va, which has the most information and with which to achieve considerable success. It is available at the pharmacy. Oatmeal as a soothing allopathy and homeopathy work hand in hand. Green oats are also known as the above-ground parts of the plants that were collected shortly before they bloomed, fresh or quickly dried. In recent years, green oats have become particularly popular in folk medicine. Tea from it finds application at nervous exhaustion as a soothing remedy; it is also believed that it can reduce the level of uric acid in the blood, help with rheumatism and gout and serve as a good service as a toner for the elderly. Green oats are used even as a means of improving cardiac activity and blood circulation, as well as skin rashes and sexual disorders. It is difficult to say what is actually true here. According to the German Public Health Service, the efficacy of oats has not been proven and should therefore not be prescribed for therapeutic purposes. However, since no side effects have been detected, I think there is nothing to prevent the use of oat remedies.
Use in homeopathy. In the foreground here are nervous exhaustion with loss of appetite, insomnia, distracted attention because of the abundance of worries. At the same time, the heartbeat normalizes. Oatmeal droplets are also well treated for exhaustion after sexual excesses or infectious diseases. They also help those who want to quit smoking. Institutions for the treatment of drug addicts also try to use these drops. The initial na-stand is given several times a day with a dosage of about 5-10 (up to 15) drops in water. In case of acute insomnia, 20 drops can be taken approximately 2-3 hours before sleep. Divorce D, - D1 is rarely given, unless you lose your appetite after feverish diseases.
My special advice. It turned out that the homeopathic remedy Avena saliva is very helpful for overworked managers, schoolchildren and students in preparing for exams, especially if it is taken in a mixture (in equal quantities) with a tincture of valerian tincture and (or) with the homeopathic remedy Passiflora (p. 382). This hot mixture acts as a sleeping pill.
Application in folk medicine. Here, the first place is occupied by a bath of oat straw. It is recommended for rheumatism, gout and metabolic disorders. Also frostbite, scabs and female diseases can be the basis for taking sitting and local baths. o Bath with oat straw: finely sliced oat straw - for a full bath of about 100 g - boil in 3 liters of water for about 20 minutes, strain and add to the bath. And of course, we can't help but say what kind of love oatmeal soups, tolokno are enjoyed in folk medicine.
