Part 2. Archimagus Conversation.
He was looking somewhere under his feet. Steve realized that there was half a silver board there, which he never had time to replace.
- Your jokes, Stephen, haven't changed a bit," the archimagus recalled. - Although, I must admit, I expected the worst from your shop. You feel the hand of the mistress... and the housewife, you yourself are not capable of such an order.
She looked at Sofia expressively. She wasn't at all confused, came forward and made a beautiful curtsy.
- It's nice to meet you, I'm Sofia Dolia," she introduced herself.
- The Archimagist of the All-Magic Academy, Felicia Goft, introduced herself and looked at her husband. - How many titles do I have there at the moment?
- Eighteen, dear. Although I still believe that the title "Defender of the Middle East" should remain valid even after the destruction of the Middle East. This is stupid!
- Whatever," Felicia shrugged. - Call me by my name. I hate all this waitress.
Steve snorted - hated it, but still did not forget to mention both her position and the number of titles. This did not hide from Forlie, and he gently kicked his brother on the leg.
- Well, I think we can go to the table," the magician suggested.
- What about the excursion? - Looking mockingly at Steve, my mother asked. - Here we sell magic crowbar, here we keep a magic shovel, and here I sleep!
- Well, if you're afraid to get lost, we sell artifacts here. Where we go to eat, we keep it," he parried. - I can sketch out a map quickly.
When they realized that they wouldn't go anywhere in this way, my father intervened, tapping himself on a small belly to be convincing:
- So hungry. These teleportation awaken in me a brutal appetite.
Everybody unanimously threw in, agreeing with this wise thought, and followed in the living room.
- I, by the way, Sarrug, the senior librarian of the academy, - having caught Sophia on the way, my father introduced himself. - It is a pleasure to meet you.
He accidentally touched her hand and with a big smile went on.
- Look, behave normally, there was not enough scandal! - When he caught his brother by the hand, Forlie broke through. - One short evening and that's it. Just endure it.
Costa surpassed all expectations - the table just broke down with diversity. Felicia sat at the head of the table, Steve and Sofia on the left hand, Dad and Forlie on the right.
- Not badly prepared, - recognized my mother, finding their favorite crab rolls.
She picked up one fork and was going to eat it, but suddenly it wailed loudly. It seems that one of the lively cutlery sold at the fair managed to escape.
- You can't eat me! - The fork confidently stated. - I am a living, intelligent being!
Felicia was looking closely at the "living" creature. That's how they usually look at small but very dirty kittens.
- I wasn't going to eat you. Do you even know why you were created?
- Yes!" the fork answered fanatically. - The great prophet told us the terrible truth: to pass on the fish!
The cutlery looked at Steve expressively. Mom smiled and gave away Forlie's fork.
- And where did my eldest son manage to meet a girl who knows how to make the right bow? - Mom asked when the incident was over.
- A curtsy," Sofia carefully corrected her and immediately shut up.
A dead silence came, the archimagus froze for a second and smiled tightly.
- I never knew about this galaxy. It is enough for me if a noble person has enough brains to bow to me. So how did you two meet?
- I was a maid of honor at His Majesty's court, Roderick the Third, the ruler...
- Is that the local king? - When interrupting it, my mother checked with her husband.
- Yes, dear. Nothing is remarkable, although there is a rumor that he eats frogs.
Felicia looked closely at the table in search of amphibians. She did not find it, but exhaled with relief.
- So, the maid of honor. Very good, if not more. I am pleasantly surprised.
The archimagist, having put aside the food, looked closely at Sophia. It was no longer an idle curiosity.
- Honey, can you pass me that salad? - My father asked.
Solifileset served him a dish, Sarrug accepted it, gratefully touched her hand and said:
- Thank you, you were beautifully trained in the palace.
- Forlie! Don't spoil the magic at the table," Mom said, distracting herself from Sophia.
