History of Russia

Alexander Abdulov

He dreamed of becoming the "fifth Beatle" as a child and making his own guitars, but, as it turned out, he was waiting for a completely different scene - the scene on which he managed to become one of the most favorite, popular and, without doubt, the most beautiful actors of the Russian theater and cinema. Alexander Gavrilovich Abdulov was born in Tobolsk, but he spent his childhood in Fergana. His theatrical parents have always dreamt that at least one of his sons would become an actor. Therefore, we can say that the biography of Abdulov was predetermined. However, his older brothers also tried to enter the theatrical universities, but only Abdulov managed it, though not from the first time. Having studied at the Pedagogical Institute for a year and worked as a worker in the theatre where his father played, Alexander went back to Moscow and entered the GITIS. It is hard to deny that the decisive role in the actor's biography of Alexander Abdulov was played by Mark Zakharov.

He noted Abdulov at his diploma performance and immediately invited him to "Lenkom". And the real cinematic fame came to him after Mark Zakharov's film "Ordinary miracle", where he played Medveda. The next role of Abdulov - in the drama "Do not part with your loved ones" - only strengthened his success. By the beginning of the 80's he became an incredibly popular actor, shooting simultaneously in several films. At the same time, he was not limited to the romantic role, were in his arsenal and comedy roles, and shooting in detectives, historical paintings and dramas.

In life, Alexander Abdulov was as versatile as in the cinema. He was a good foster father for Ksenia Alferova, daughter of the first wife of Abdulov Irina Alferova. An activist who organized the Zadvorki charity festival and revived the Moscow International Film Festival. And in everyday life it was a person who loved fishing and guests, kind, reliable, flexible, always coming to the aid in difficult moments, full of plans and desires. Even when he was found to have a serious illness, Abdulov did not give up. He promised his fans that soon I would come back to you and soon play in "Marriage", but, alas, even a small "ordinary miracle" did not happen.

Episodes of life

When Alexander Abdulov proposed to Alferova, she jokingly replied that she would agree only if the actor carried her through the park in her arms. Abdulov fulfilled the request of his beloved without hesitation. At the time when Alexander and Irina decided to get married, she was already pregnant with a Bulgarian businessman, but Abdulov raised Ksenia as his own, hiding from everyone who was her stepfather for a long time. According to Ksenia's memories, her father always fiddled with her, studied and was a wonderful father.

Once, on a tour of Lenkom abroad, Alexander Abdulov played in Juno and Avos. In one of the scenes, he depicted a flaming heretic, manipulating two burning torches at once. The Americans who saw it demanded that there should be no fire, they said, that your artist had such a crazy look that we think he would throw fire into the hall. Mark Zakharov tried to explain that the crazy look was not at Abdulov's, but at his hero's, but the Americans believed in the actor's brilliant play so much that they agreed to the torches only if they were chained to Abdulov with special metal bracelets. The director had to agree to this.

When Abdulov fell ill, many tried to support him, including his beloved Spartacus team. Footballers went out to the matches in T-shirts with the image of the actor, and friends recorded video messages and gave the actor to the hospital. Even Irina Alferova sent Abdulova a message saying, "Who said love was leaving? She is not going anywhere! I love you, Sashka!
