100% natural pre and post hair removal scrubs: few ingredients to obtain legs with soft, toned and elastic skin. The choice is yours! Which scrubs should be done before waxing and which will help your skin to remain smooth and smooth after epilation? These are the five ingredients that will give your skin a soft look and feel.
Gentle bicarbonate treatment
This multi-use ingredient, which you will certainly already have at home, is a health boon for freshly shaved skin. The bicarbonate scrub is useful not only for removing skin stains but also for its relaxing action on legs that are reddened and stressed by waxing. Its soothing and gentle action will give pleasant results from the first use and after a few weeks, you will already notice the improvements! Here are the two recipes that we recommend.
Bicarbonate and aloe vera scrub
You ust need two teaspoons of bicarbonate and natural or food-grade aloe gel. Our advice is to massage the affected area with an exfoliating glove for at least 10 minutes and then rinse with warm water. Aloe Vera will give your legs a radiant appearance, illuminating the skin and developing firmness in the cells.
Bicarbonate scrub, lukewarm water, and olive oil
Mix three (well-filled) tablespoons of baking soda with lukewarm water and let it mix for a couple of minutes. The appearance of the scrub should be grainy but you can still add a teaspoon of olive oil to smooth and silky your skin. Massage for 5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. Try it the day after epilation!
Aromatic coffee treatment
This is a must-do before epilation: coffee fights ingrown hair and prevents it from forming. We, therefore, recommend it to those who want to obtain a waxing without scattered hairs, but also to those who want to maintain the tan: some active ingredients of the coffee, in fact, stimulate the production of melanin and leave your skin with a scented and exotic taste! Not only that, coffee is an excellent anti-cellulite, thanks to its stimulating capacity of the blood circulation, and a powerful antioxidant.
Coffee scrub, coconut oil, and cane sugar
Massage your legs for 10 minutes with 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and 4 tablespoons of coconut oil (natural!). We recommend using only on dry skin to achieve a great result. Start this treatment 2 times a week before waxing, and you will feel the results after the first tear: the skin stays soft and the hairs will grow much slower.
Coffee and Green Tea
The antioxidant and relaxing properties of green tea will prepare your skin for the stress of waxing, providing cells with elasticity and rapid regeneration. Warm-up half a cup of green tea in a sachet and then add two grounds of coffee. Wait until the mixture is warm and then massage for 15 minutes. This treatment, done 2-3 times a week, prevents varicose veins and increases tissue tone.
Creamy honey treatment
This miraculous dietary nectar is a precious ally for the skin: after hair removal, its nutritional properties will make your legs soft and leave you with an intense and enveloping aroma!
Scrub with honey and pink salt
Combine in a bowl two tablespoons of honey and a handful of pink salt, preferably large. Mix thoroughly and heat for 30 seconds in a microwave oven to 200W. Massage for 5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with hot water: we recommend using your hands and not the glove, so that the substance, already sticky in itself, blends well and is absorbed by the affected part.
Scrub with honey, yogurt, and cane sugar
Experience the feeling of a completely regenerated skin: mix three tablespoons of white yogurt, three tablespoons of honey and three tablespoons of caster cane sugar for a surprising result! This scrub acts mercilessly on dead cells and can be used from 3 days after hair removal. Use the rough glove for the less sensitive parts and if you want, add a few drops of orange blossom oil. It will give your scrub a fruity aroma!
Salt exfoliating treatment
The salt scrub is the most widely used because it is rich in beneficial virtues for the body and the skin: the minerals inside, such as potassium and zinc, are antibacterial and give balance to the sebum in the skin. In addition, the grain structure of sea salt makes it a perfect exfoliant, suitable for many skin types and recommended for use before hair removal.
