UFOs are one of the most mysterious the phenomena, the mysteries that await of their researchers.
UFOs are a burning mystery of our reality. For a very long time, we have been so busy fighting each other that we have made almost no attempt to understand the great mysteries that lay beyond the threshold of normal life. Meanwhile, the secrets continued to shine in the sky, appear in unexpected places, make maneuvers in front of entire cities, be fixed by radar, jam the engines of cars, reduce the voltage of hydroelectric power plants.
The way of the history of UFOs is the way from ancient times to the forties of the XX century. Why such a strange framework? Everything is quite simple. It is this period that specialists called "prehistoric". Everything that happened later became "today's day" of ufology. And the turning point in the history of the study of UFOs was the accident in Roswell in 1947.
Legends of flying discs are as old as mankind itself. Strange objects in the sky always worried people, sometimes even caused panic. Ancient texts preserved the hints of aliens. Chinese researcher Chi Penlao from Beijing University describes the mysterious drawings in the Hunan Mountains and on the island in the middle of Lake Tungsten. Dotted around 4500 BC, the rock paintings on the granite depict a man with a huge body, a cylindrical object in the sky and a similar object, but on the ground. Not a single "earthly" explanation for this drawing has so far withstood criticism. Similar things can be seen in the Sahara highlands in Tassili and in the Peruvian temple of Tiaunako.
The biblical prophet Ezekiel saw a strange car in the sky that landed in Chaldea (now Iraq) in 593 BC.
In old chronicles, there are many descriptions of light discs, visible in the daytime sky or lights, visible at night, which were observed in the times of the Roman Empire. In some cases, even creatures associated with objects are described. In the history of Ezekiel, by the way, a human figure surrounded by bright light is also mentioned. It is often said that earthlings were visited by "people in white robes" who came from far away, shields flew through the sky or two moons were visible.
Ghost ships were hanging in the air on duty, lighting up the lights - as it was in 218 BC. All these facts (in fact, many hundreds of them) deserve to be studied very closely. There is a list of hundreds of UFO observations made in antiquity and the Middle Ages. Here it is necessary to consider that the basic weight of certificates at all has not reached us, so we have only small pieces of information.
For example, on March 6, 1716 astronomer Halley saw the object that illuminated the sky for two hours so much that it was possible to read the printed text. After two hours, the brightness of the glow decreased.
In the middle of the last century, there were not only a large number of objects crossing the Moon and Sun disks but also cigars, disks, and spheres on the ground were often described! This is very important from the point of view that the objects visible on the sphere of the Sun and Moon could be simply the result of a defect in optics.
In the spring of 1909, there was the first description of a UFO landing in the twentieth century, as well as the characteristics of the "operators" near the ship.
This happened at 23.00 on 18 May in Kefili, Wales. A witness, Mr. Lathbridge, claimed that while walking along the road he noticed a large cylindrical object near which "there were two people wearing fur coats". They saw the witness shouting excitedly, jumped into the machine and disappeared at an incredible rate.
The incident was described in a Daily Mail on 20 May 1909. There is ample evidence of further landings of UFOs. And since 1947, it has been impossible to even list all the cases - it would have been a lot of work.
Both old and modern reports made by scientists and the general public talk about flying discs in the sky and objects seen on the ground and at sea. However, it is only nowadays that they have become associated with the so-called "aliens" and the idea of interstellar space travel. But this does not mean that in the distant past these phenomena, interpreted in accordance with time, did not mean the same thing as today.
So who are they - the messengers of "distant worlds" or they have always been with us in a hidden world for our perception?
For a long time, the lack of a common ground has prevented many researchers from taking a broader view of the problem. Now in ufology, there is a theory according to which "some centuries ago there has come a new period in the research of the Earth from unknown beings. The higher mind has begun to experiment - to introduce "aliens" into our environment and to study the response of "earthlings".
