We have different car dealerships in town. In one, the prices are too high, in the second, you have to be constantly on the check so that something is not pulled off the car, in the third - both.
I drive a car of the budget segment, which I bought from hands, in January of this year. I've been doing trifles of repairing my car in various car repair shops. Recently I have been serviced in a specialized auto complex. Prices here are more expensive than in the usual service station, but here they give a guarantee for all types of repairs and cash vouchers, which indicates the reliability and solidity of the company. Plus, it is located near the house. A month ago, began to appear symptoms such as: the car does not start at first time, at small stops began not to operate the gas pedal and suddenly during the movement began to stall the engine. I drove my car into a car service center.
Diagnostics has shown that it is necessary to replace the ignition coil module, and at the same time to put new candles. The car was left with them until morning. In the morning I came to get the car, paid off and went to work. All is well, only the next morning, the engine started and stopped abruptly. I try again, again jerks and failures at idling speed. And I have not had such a thing since the moment of buying a car. I began to think that when installing the coil, I was hit by something. I went to work somehow, on the road at one of the intersections, the engine was completely stalled, and during acceleration there were signs of detonation. I think it's not easy.
So it was my turn to pay for it. I stopped by the car service in the evening, talked to the car mechanic and went home. An hour later the mechanic calls and says that the ignition coil module is working, and my idle moves are associated with clogged nozzles. And how clogged I can be if I washed them right after buying a car. I only went to work and so on in the city for shopping. It is unrealistic to score nozzles in 2-3 months.
They counted me a decent amount, which consisted of:
1. The cost of washing the injectors with their removal from the engine using ultrasound. 2. Cost of candles, oil, oil filter.
3. Master work. I listened to them, spitting, and left. I called my acquaintance, who is well versed in car repair, he used to work in the service station. I drove up to his garage. He looked around, and we went to buy two cans of carburetor flushing fluid.
The procedure of self-cleaning of the nozzles lasted about 40 minutes and consisted of the following stages:
1. The fuse was removed.
2. disconnected from the nozzles the terminals, gas pipe hoses (pressure and reverse).
3. unscrew the rail, remove the nozzle o-rings and then remove the entire nozzles.
4. Each nozzle was washed several times with flushing fluid. The nozzles themselves were in good working order, after washing the valve began to work normally and all the openings were opened, the nozzles became like new.
5. The entire construction was carefully assembled in reverse order. We checked the nozzles for leakage. For this purpose, we switched on the ignition several times without starting the car to create working pressure in the fuel pump.
That's where the whole cleaning procedure was over. I spent 300 rubles on flushing fluid (for two cylinders), and I was counted more than 3000 rubles in a car service center. Thus, for myself, I decided that I would wash the injectors myself now, and in my favorite auto complex is no longer a foot.
As it turned out, the famous dealerships are also engaged in divorce for money. To whom now to trust the car, while I do not know, was disappointed in all autoshops, everywhere it is necessary to be vigilant.
And it is better to start studying the basics of car repair independently.
