Intuition. Part 9.

I didn't even resist his kiss or his words, and I pressed him.

The first lesson was separate, both with Ian's class and with Jenny's class. I was sitting with some local toy that almost all the other half of the girls at our school who weren't in love with Ian had a crush on. I don't think Jenny's the only one who belongs to either.

-Lila? Is that right? - He asked.

-Mm-hmm. I just answered.

-Did you understand anything? - He asked again.

Mm-hmm. - My answer remained the same.

-And I didn't. But it wouldn't even be bad if you explained everything to me, so to speak, at home.

What a pusher! - I thought. - You dreamed.

Looks like he was the kind of guy who wasn't obsessed with the same person of the opposite sex.

-You know, somehow I don't want to be another toy in your bed. - Almost rudely I answered.

-Well, that's okay. A toy? No, you can`t be called a toy. You are something more...

-Big toy? Thank you for the compliment! - I ate it.

-No. You are a girl. And very even beautiful. - Sticky as a bath sheet!

Probably, one more of my "admirers".

-How about roses, champagne? - He continued.

-No!" I said very rudely already. - You know, I also have one suggestion for you.

-Yes? -He didn't let me express his thoughts to the end.

-Yes! Wouldn't you go farther away?

-With you, even on the edge of the world.

-I'm telling you to go to hell! One more word on this subject and something will happen!

-You what? Will you shout your lips at my lips?

I didn't answer and just raised my hand.

-Lilianne? - A physics teacher asked.

-Can I move? - I asked her.

-No. You will be transplanting after class. There were only fifteen minutes left.

-Then it wasn't my fault if my roommate was going to be lying in the hospital soon with some fractured body parts.

-Lilianne, this is not like you. But perhaps you can still move to the last desk.

-Thank you. - I answered and took my belongings and moved to the last desk.

Did I really get rid of that jerk?! Although from time to time he looked back and winked at me. I might say I already hate him! The next lesson was together again, but now Ian would be there. Which is much better.

After class, I got together as fast as I could, and I bypassed that jerk and left the class. I was on my way to the next classroom for the next lesson. I wanted to see Ian sooner. He wasn't in class when I got to the classroom. It's a pity... I walked out of the classroom and walked down the hallways of the school. The main thing was not to meet that idiot, but I also wanted to see Ian. A couple of minutes later, I decided to go back to class, but when I was on my way to class, I saw that Ian had the idiot pressed against the wall by the neck. Of course, the jerk deserved to be punished, but not like that - Ian could kill him. I ran up to them.

-Ian, let him go. Please. - I prayed.

He loosened his grip, but didn't let go completely.

-Take him away! - He shouted "prisoner" at me.

Ian only clenched his throat harder.

-Ian, he's not worth it. Don't. - I begged Ian again.

-If you look at her like that again, I'll kill you! - Ian spoke to his "prisoner".

After that, Ian let him go, and he just held on to his throat.

We went into class. Ian sat down next to me

-Calm down... I told him, holding his hand.

-Calm down? How dare he treat you like that? - He was on edge. - I'm sorry... - Suddenly he went away.

All the time he was looking at me, and I was looking at him.

After class, we went to different classrooms - we didn't have any more classes together today - but we were together during breaks and for lunch. We drove home in a car.

-Ian..." I said as we were on our way.

-Yes, I did.

-You said you knew the woman who attacked me.

-Yes.

-And who is she?

-She... a friend... we... hunted together a couple of times...

-But she's...

-Drinking people's blood.

There was so much regret in the voice...

-Then why...

-Why were we hunting together?

-Yes.

-She turned me. We hunted together for a long time after that... people. At that time I thought I should, but then I met this family, they didn't drink people's blood. I didn't understand them. But when I got to know them better, I understood everything. I realized how wrong it was to do what I did before. But that woman held different views. She lured me to her side for a long time, but I gave up human blood forever. And I was sheltered by the family I live with now. They became my family, too. The last time I drank blood, it was almost 70 years ago. But when I met you... I was so drawn to you. I fell in love with you. I watched you all day long. Sitting in the woods on a fallen tree, picnicking with your mother, doing your homework, walking with Jenny... And when I heard you talking to your girlfriend, I thought, "Here's my chance, though we're so out of touch...
