Each country has its customs, traditions and generally accepted rules of decency. Among these rules, flowers play an important role in the traditions of different peoples.

In Finland, for example, it is not customary to sell flowers on the street - ready-made bouquets are sold only in specialized shops or on the market. Finns have a different tradition of giving flowers than Russians. For example, Finns do not pay attention to the number of flowers. Easter greetings are usually given a bouquet of yellow terry tulips. And on Mother's Day, ikebanas and artificial solemn bouquets of orchids are popular in flower shops.

Turkey is known for its floral etiquette rules, which are passed down from generation to generation. For example, a bouquet of bright red flowers symbolizes joy and friendship, while the blue-and-white scale means sadness. Turks' favourite colours are tulips. These flowers in Turkey are given not only on holidays but also just to cheer up the mood and bring joy. It is customary for women to be presented with open flowers - orchids, herbers, roses. And for a girl more suitable non-dissolved buds, symbolizing purity and purity.

Flower traditions of one country are often adopted in other parts of the world. So, for example, in many countries becomes a popular English tradition to crumble with flowers the way on which there is a wedding procession that the bride's life proceeded happily and was filled with flowers.

As well as this custom, flower holidays always mean a lot of bright colours and positive emotions that make our lives happier. Since ancient times, the rose is considered a symbol of youth and beauty.

And in Bulgaria, it is in a special honour in general. This flower has become one of the main symbols of the country, which is reflected in the national culture. A lot of songs are written about the rose, and local artists often depict it in their paintings.

The lotus (water lily) is the national flower of India. The lotus symbol is extremely complex, branched out. It means the origins of life, its order, creativity, spirituality and nirvana. The lotus images are considered healing, so they are everywhere - on the capitals of columns in temples and paintings, on the decorations of Indian women. In Japan, the national symbol is the cherry tree.

Sakura is a Japanese name for decorative wood, which belongs to the species "Cherry", which, unlike cherry, does not bear fruit. In Japan, cherry cherries are the subject of many songs and poems that associate them with youth and love. Every spring, many people gather in parks, alleys, gardens and near the palaces of the Land of the Rising Sun.

The undoubted symbol of China is a peony. The Chinese believe that it brings happiness, keeps love and increases wealth. Every year since 1982, the city of Luoyang, Henan Province, has hosted the Peony Festival, which attracts a large number of lovers of these beautiful flowers. At this time, thousands of beautiful peonies can be seen on both sides of the Jiang River. During the festival, there are gala concerts, exhibitions of peonies, paintings, calligraphy, lanterns, seminars on peony cultivation, business negotiations. In Wangcheng City Park and Botanical Garden, in addition to the exhibition of peonies, festive banquets and culinary exhibitions are organized. One of the large-scale events in the framework of the Pioneer Festival is the ceremonial weddings under the motto "Peony is a witness of happiness". It is customary for newlyweds to donate not only peonies but also other objects depicting peonies because peonies have been considered symbols of happiness, love and wealth since ancient times.

Every summer, Chelsea has hosted a magnificent flower show for more than 80 years. This holiday is organized by the Royal Society. The Chelsea Flower Show is an incredibly popular event. It is the event that dictates floral fashion around the world. Thus, for example, the English flower festival introduced the fashion for recycling in floristry and landscape design. Surprisingly, but many flower compositions, participating in the competition, are made of garbage. Old trolleys collapsed flower beds, unnecessary dishes - all this goes to the entrance of florists, and the streets of the British capital are freed from the mountains of garbage. And spectators of such original finds remain in full delight: old things, decorated with bright flowers, reminded them of the warm events of life associated with close relatives and a distant childhood.

The Chelsea is home to another fashionable trend - "English" lawns. But now this fashion for tidy lawns is becoming a thing of the past because the British themselves have introduced new floral preferences - the "natural" landscape.
