Dolphins protect the young and never take care of themselves

If the female dolphin is unfortunately small, to let the inactive dolphins breathe, it will desperately push the dolphins to the surface with their own snouts and repeat these actions constantly, or even stop eating for two days.

According to people in the aquarium, once the baby dolphins die, the female dolphins will try their best to resurrect the dolphins, but if the duration is too long, even the female dolphins can die due to exhaustion. Therefore, the body of the baby dolphins must be salvaged as soon as possible. Perhaps this will prevent the dolphins from being overly sad and rejuvenating. However, it is not easy for the staff to clear the dead dolphins. The female dolphins will protect the dolphins from the boat and compete with the staff.

Does the female dolphin know that the baby dolphins have died? Or because I feel that the little dolphins are pitiful and desperately want to push the little dolphins to the surface? Or is it just an animal instinct? Perhaps the dolphin does have some rationality that humans cannot understand. The details are still unclear.

Dolphin rescue victims of the same kind

In ancient Greece, there was a story of dolphins saving drowning people: once a famous Greek lyric poet and musician Alien participated in a music competition organized by a wealthy Italian businessman, and he won a huge prize. He took the wealth and returned to Corinth, Greece by boat. Unexpectedly, he caused the crew to be jealous and wanted to kill him. Before he died, he asked to play another song.

The wonderful music attracted a large group of dolphins. Alien jumped into the sea. The dolphins carried him on his body and went to a safe place. Alien escaped. This story shows that the relationship between ancient humans and dolphins is quite good. So what is the situation between dolphins and dolphins?

In June 1994, when researchers conducted a dolphin ecological survey in the Pacific Ocean, they observed dolphins that were unfortunately hit by a harpoon and were in a coma. In the vicinity, they swam another dolphin and constantly pushed the injured. To the surface of the water, it sounds as if it is awakening an injured dolphin in a coma.

Dolphins can identify friends and foes

When investigating wild dolphins, the researchers found that dolphins were often reluctant to approach people at first, and seemed to be aware of the presence of strangers. But when it is detected that human beings are not hostile, the dolphin's alertness gradually declines, even as close as possible, they will shake their heads while observing people. As long as one of them inadvertently approaches people, other dolphins will swim slowly.

Near the summer of the island of Char co, there are more than a dozen Atlantic bottle nose dolphins swimming to the beach every day. These dolphins do not seem to mind the harassment of humans, and they have become accustomed to humans giving their food and bait by hand. Therefore, even wild dolphins will get along with humans if they have the right opportunity.

However, human beings can only get rid of the predicament of "the spirit of all things" and be in the world of dolphins. To discover other ways of communicating with dolphins.

One day in 1871, the sailing ship "Billie" passed through the Cook Strait of New Zealand. Due to the sudden change of weather, it was trapped in the "Greek of Death" for a whole day. It was a disaster to be destroyed. The captain in despair was powerless. The ground is crossed with a cross on the chest.

Suddenly, his eyes lit up, a silver-gray big dolphin jumped from the storm, and looked back from time to time, as if to say: "Please rest assured, friend, I know how to get out of the lost, get rid of the god of death." Captain like in the night I saw the lighthouse in the air, and I didn’t want to order to follow the dolphins. The big dolphins turned seven and eight turns and finally took the "Brunei" out of the terrible land.

Since then, a miracle has appeared. This silver-gray dolphin has always been hovering near the strait, guiding the passing ships year after year. Whenever a ship arrives, it always jumps out of the water, shaking the caudal fin to welcome it, but thickly reefs and escaping the river to get the ship out of danger, and the crew affectionately call it "Jack."

In 1912, Jack ended his 40-year career as a volunteer pilot and quietly passed away. With the attachment of the locals, the diver found its body and covered the flag, then held a funeral for it, and later carved a bronze statue for it.

Dolphin predation pays attention to the division of labor

Dolphins are group-based during the predation process, and the nature website reports that a recent study of the Florida coast showed that each dolphin has its own distinct division of labor in the predation.

Collaborative hunting has been found in many animal groups, such as chimpanzees.

But each individual has his or her own specific work in the group. Just like a football team, each team member has his own division of labor. This phenomenon is rare in animal groups.

About 60 species of dolphins are known worldwide.
