The morning of the moon always began the same way.
And even this, which turned her whole autumn upside down, seemed at first quite ordinary.
At six o’clock in the morning, without any alarm clocks, the Fox, which was actually a red dog of the Corgi breed, jumped onto the bed, stuck a cold nose into the girl’s cheek and said:
Woof woof!

Which meant: "
So a new day has come! It's time to go outside smell the bushes! Lou grabbed the Cantrell, pressed a delicate velvet red ear to her cheek and muttered: Give me some more sleep!"

But the Corgi kicked her short white paws, grunted at the piglet, and bit her fingers on the moon:
"Get up, get up, man!" Okay, I get up!
Lou crawled out from under the covers, quickly walked barefoot into the kitchen, turned on the electric kettle and went to wash. Shaggy something ten years old sleepily looked at her from a mirror. The moon quickly went through a comb through her light, almost white (moon, as Artair her uncle, her mother’s brother said) hair, brushed her teeth and ran back to the room to get dressed.
She pulled on tight black tights, loose gray checkered shorts and a blue sweater. Turning the long sleeves of her sweater, Luna stepped from the corner cupboard to the dresser.
It was a chest of drawers for her treasures. A whole chest full of knitted hats, scarves, mittens. And, of course, socks and golfs. The Moon had a whole collection, and she always asked her grandmother to tie something else as a gift for the holidays.
Sock selection is the most important morning exercise. You can forget to pack your backpack, don’t drink herbal tea or have breakfast, you can be late anywhere, but you can’t rush to choose socks.
They set the tone (and color!) For the whole day.
It’s good that autumn has finally come. The moon did not like summer, because it was hot in socks the summer.
The moon chose long dark green socks to a shallow orange dot and with wavy elastic perfect for today's September day! I put it on, gathered it in accordion on my ankles and looked at Cantrell.

She rummaged in a wooden box with toys. Choosing a ball for a morning walk is just as important as choosing a sock!
Lou, meanwhile, grabbed her backpack and flew into the kitchen. She took a thermos, threw inside a pinch of herbal pick from a large can and carefully poured boiling water from the kettle. Luna prepared herbal preparations by herself she collected flowers, herbs, and leaves in the country all summer, brought her home and put the green catch into an electric dryer, which her parents gave her two years ago for her birthday. In her herb diary, Lou carefully recorded all the plants collected over the season and their favorite combinations in collections. Today she had tea from raspberry leaves, currants, and clover flowers.

Having finished fiddling with a thermos, Luna made a couple of ham sandwiches and put them in a plastic container in the form of a panda.
The little fox jumped onto the stool, but its front legs on the table and looked into the eyes of the hostess.
“I remember about you,” Luna said quietly. (Mom was still sleeping, so she tried not to make noise.)
Lou opened the cabinet and picked up a large box from the shelf. It depicted a dog with huge greedy eyes, grabbing a bone-shaped cookie on the fly. Lou scooped out a large handful of biscuits from the box and put it into her short pocket. Now happy?
The chanterelle approvingly wagged her red-haired tail with a white tassel, jumped off a stool, took a ball in her teeth and ran down the laminate to the hallway.

The moon shoved a thermos in a backpack, a container with breakfast, a grass diary and a small linen bag that was stuffed with something and tied with a ribbon. I put on my shoes in the hallway, and my friends run down the stairs. Lou opened the driveway door and Chanterelle disappeared into the bushes for her canine affairs.
The moon yawned widely, standing on the porch of the house, and did not even cover her mouth with her hand, as her mother always punished her. In such a wound, there was still no one in the yard, even the pigeons were still sleeping. The girl, like all lunar creatures, did not like morning. But she asked the dog and promised her mother that she would walk with her in front of the school in the mornings. So she walked while mom examined the dreams.
The little fox climbed out of the bushes, ran to the mistress and, picking up the ball, looked inquiringly:
“Where are we going, man?”

“Today is a responsible morning, dog,” said Luna. Indeed, today an important holiday is the Autumn Equinox. Day becomes shorter than night, which means that different spirits come to earth. Boo-o-o-o-o-o!
Luna put her hands forward and her fingers moved.
Cantrell listened carefully to the hostess.
“Evil spirits,” Luna said. “And it’s time for us to collect amulets to calmly survive this winter.”

Today you and I should find a lucky stone, pick up rowan berries, cook pumpkin soup and light a candle. Let's start with the pebble. Where do you think we should look for him? In the garden? Mossy dragons?
The fox barked
“Yes!” And ran the familiar lane. Luna smiled.

Definitely, an extra hour of sleep in a warm bed is a small price for a red-haired friend who is ready to participate in all your undertakings.
