Minimalism is when you're happy with what you have, and that's enough for you. Even a lot. And you thank the higher powers, life for such generosity and kindness to you.

Gradually we change with age - we have children, we get bored with the games of ego and consumerism, we want nature, silence and tranquility, order and verified "ideal day", we want to give or throw away what you do not use, we want freedom from outside encroachments and unnecessary obligations, we want your favorite business and financial stability. Not endless conquests of new heights (which do not lead to stable happiness, but often even delay), but daily simple joy and calmness.

I want freedom, "air" in my life, to be able to stop, slow down!

You understand that life is finite, and soon enough. That you became the very adult you were preparing to become all the time. And soon you will live your whole life.

I want to stop running for what the marketers imposed and just enjoy the living and humane, the pleasant and interesting to you that you have every day. You begin to cleanse your life from unnecessary things. And we, driven and tortured by all the nonsense imposed, begin to learn again from children's joy, games, enjoyment from everything in a row.

But, being satisfied with small, it is necessary to always remember that I always bear full responsibility for what I have, and for what I do not have now, and in the near future will not have any concrete results

That is if I make a conscious decision not to allocate time and effort to pumping something concrete (or I simply do not have an internal resource for it, and I realize it, I accept it), then I do not whine, do not complain, do not get upset.

You should always try to optimize the work with current elements, to introduce a number of key automated habits in time until new elements are added. So that the new ones can be introduced quite easily and harmoniously.

Also, and therefore happiness does not come to most people. In my current life, there is no order. And then bam and something else flies in - and all, and again running to get life back to normal at least a little. It is necessary to be in the present, but from time to time to time to lose in the head, to rehearse hypothetical future situations to understand what preventive measures should be taken to avoid "painful pain".

Just as it is important to keep your body healthy (nutrition, exercise, movement, etc.). Because without full health there will be no happiness. And it is silly to think that if your back hurts a little bit now, then it will suddenly pass away somehow, and will not hurt even more. Or, if now the vision starts to deteriorate, then it will suddenly recover and become normal. Or the pressure from excess weight - and then, of course, it "itself" normalizes. Therefore, "suddenly" there are various serious problems.

"I didn't really want to."

Another big problem that prevents us from being happy is a devaluation. This is a point that we must try to keep track of, to see the truth. Sometimes something will be really impossible. For example, if your physical data is not suitable at all. Or a person did not like you, and you will not be able to build a relationship. And this is normal, common thing, in our world, is all around.

But maybe you really want to, and then you will regret it? Do you pretend you don't want to? Maybe you can get what you want gradually? Or can you get some other version of it, in a simpler way, in a smaller volume? It's all to be seen, understood. Or just to admit it, to voice it to myself - yes, in fact, I want to, but it is impossible.

It gives evenness, honesty with yourself, the opportunity to do something about it, the absence of distortions, a large amount of energy - and saved on hiding the lies and other different dissonances, hunger, and energy received to move towards the goals.

4. Knowing all about your happiness and misfortune

Knowing what you need to be happy. What you have and what you lack. Which makes you unhappy right now or from time to time. That's what all these strategic sessions of planning, setting and rewriting goals, freeriding, and debriefing are for. To check the map from time to time and, most importantly, the compass.

Are you moving in that direction? What is your movement vector? Are you going in the direction of the realization of what will make you even happier? Or not? Or are you rolling back in general, and you have more and more reasons to feel unhappy?

All these measurements, listening to yourself, rewriting goals, in other words, help to calibrate your path and your feelings about it. And if you don't go where you want to go, are you ready to take this responsibility, that in the future you will be left without these results and will realize that you haven't done what you could do? And it's not about the heroes from Instagram anymore. When you focus on your life and your steps, you think much less about other people's lives.

I have something to work on. And I'm already working!

Is it easy for me to be completely happy in six months or so? Yes! Regime adjustments and additional finances will give me more freedom and maneuvers.

And it will give me the opportunity to feel more relaxed (which means even less race, even more, time for what I am interested and pleased to do), to add something else to my day and to my life. Because these are "purpose steamers".

Then I will think of something else that will make me even happier. But you need to know what makes you unhappy as well as what makes you happy.
