- If you need to, call her, sweetheart," he fell in love with obsessed Lewis and pulled Dolly into the hallway.

- Mr. Lewis, you have to talk to her! - exclaimed Dolly to him. - It can't go on like this! Merci must stop!

- What can I do? - Lewis had his hands all over Lewis. - I can't do anything. Everything is in God's hands.

- You are her father! Not a stranger! If Mercy is not stopped, Isaac will die! - Dolly's voice sounded troubled.

- I've tortured myself enough with her. Now let him clean up his own witchcraft problems. I'm scared without your worries. If the residents find out that my daughter is a witch, they will burn me alive with her. And I don't need it. Dolly, don't tell anyone about Mercy. Let everything go its course.

The door to Mercy's room opened.

- Are you still here? What are you whispering about? You're the reason I can't concentrate!

- We're leaving now, Mercy," Mr. Lewis muttered quickly and took Dolly with him.

- That's better," Mercy slammed the door shut and started eating.

Her revenge plan with Isaac's help failed: Dolly the Prodigal has stolen. She came to visit the guy every day, painfully seeing the obsessed woman cut off pieces of flesh from his body, cut them out and eat them. Isaac endured pain.

Laying back at Mercy's house, he talked to Dolly about escaping. And they escaped. Mercy didn't chase after them until she didn't know they had escaped. It was night.

Isaac and Dolly got to the dock, where they agreed to sail away from Salem and start a new life. But their plans didn't come true. They were imprisoned on the ship of Countess Marburg, who had come to Salem from Boston. When Mercy learned of the Prodigal's escape with her friend, she turned the house upside down, broke the furniture, broke the dishes, and killed her father in fury, who was trying to calm down her raging daughter. Mercy ran up to the mirror and tried to crack it when she saw a tall, beautiful woman in the reflection.

- My light, the mirror, tell me, am I beautiful in the world? - A stranger Mercy smiled.

The demon-possessed woman turned to her:

- Who are you? How did you get in here? Come to mock me?

A woman with clear eyes in the summer sky came closer, bypassing the pogrom. She gently ran her hand over Mercy's burned face.

- No way! I'm not going to make fun of you! - She took Mercy's burned hand in her hand, put something small in her open palm, and kissed her hand. - This can be fixed, Mercy. You want to be the same, don't you? - She looked upright in her eyes. - I'm here to help you.

- How do you know my name? I didn't introduce myself to you! - Mercy pulled her burned hand away from the mysterious person. - Who are you?

- My name is Ingrid Palantina von Marburg. I arrived in Salem on business.

Merci looked at the newly arrived Countess with suspicion.

- And what does your Highness care about me? Why do you need this? I don't believe in lucky cases. - Merci sounded distrustful.

After betraying Mary Sibley, she didn't trust anyone else.

- I am not your enemy, Mercy. I am your friend. Trust me. - The Countess reached out to her.

- I don't have any friends anymore," Mercy told me. - I'm alone.

- Not anymore," the Countess put her hands down. - If I wanted to hurt you, I would have done it by now. Believe me. Come with me and you'll be the same.

- Are you a witch too? - Mercy asked, looking at the Countess's exquisite dress.

- I'm more than a witch, Mercy: I'm your salvation.

- There is no selfless help. You're sure to ask for something in return. I have nothing. I have nothing to pay you back with. - Possessed with a hand pointed out the way out and turned her back on the Countess Marburg. - Leave. Don't waste your time on me. A woman like you must have a lot to do.

The Countess came closer to her, put her hands on her stooped shoulders and turned her face towards herself.

- I came for you. You called me.

- I didn't call you," I moved away from Mercy's woman. - And don't look at me. I'm scared. Go away. I don't need your pity.

- I see the potential in you, Mercy Lewis. Don't you want revenge for what you did to yourself? Planning on spending the rest of your life in this bedbug, killing yourself and feeling sorry for yourself? - the Countess shaken Mercy over her shoulders. - You are young, beautiful! You have your whole life ahead of you! Don't let anyone take it away from you! Come with me and your problems will be solved!

- Do not solve for me! I am not going anywhere, especially not with anyone! I don't know you! - Merci began to push away the Countess. - Why aren't you leaving?

- I can't until I help you. If you don't want to go voluntarily, let me try you out. - Countess Marburg drew the girl to herself and kissed her on the burnt lips.
