I will name some types of body hardening (hardening procedures): 1. Hydrotherapy (dousing, wiping, contrast shower, Russian steam room, etc.); 2. Aromatherapy (taking air baths, hardening by a long stay in the fresh air); 3. Heliotherapy (sunbathing, hardening by sunbathing, sunbathing); 4. Barefoot walking. All these methods are truly popular, very popular and, most importantly, extremely effective in terms of therapeutic effect.
1. WATER SUPPLY Water treatment has been known since ancient times. The first information about it is contained in the Hindu Vedas (1500 BC). Fresh and mineral water was used for hygienic and therapeutic purposes by ancient Assyrians, Babylonians, Egyptians. In Ancient Greece, the technique of hydrotherapy was improved by Hippocrates, and later it was transferred to Ancient Rome and gradually spread all over the world. The principle of hydrotherapy is based on the fact that water, possessing high heat capacity, high thermal conductivity and convection, well dissolving various salts and gases, at influence on an organism through nervous receptors of the skin causes favourable chemical and biochemical changes in an organism. There is a great variety of methods of hydrotherapy: - Dousing; - Wiping; - Walking barefoot; - Swimming in open waters; - Wet wraps; - Russian steam room; - Contrasting shower, etc. Let's consider some of them in detail.
1.1 Dewatering, as well as all general water procedures, should start from certain water temperature. In a week or two, the pouring will bring real pleasure, a person will feel that in this way he discards fatigue, inflammation, in some way is revived. Time is not limited: 5, 10 seconds, 1 minute - depending on the feeling.
1.2 Wiping The procedure consists of quickly rubbing the body (in parts) with a piece of coarse cloth or rubber sponge soaked in water. Wiping starts at a temperature of 1-2°C higher than dousing. Gradually reduce the temperature of the water, similar to the pouring procedure. As a result of wiping you can feel the warmth in the body, freshness, vigour and strength. Wiping increases the body's resistance to colds helps with loss of strength, fatigue.
1.3 Russian steam room Russian steam room is a unique way to solve almost all health problems. If you start to steam in a Russian bath from childhood (usually - from 8-10 years old), then by 12-14 years old you can lead contrasting procedures, enjoying in the summer period diving into the pool or river after the steam bath, and in winter - immersion in snow or wiping with snow. Russian bathhouse is very good with its constant use throughout life because the body "remembers" incomparable sensations of a burst of energy in combination with the use of water procedures of contrast type. Usually, the procedure is performed based on your own sensations and health condition. Russian paired patient with hypertension and ischaemia, persons suffering from alcoholism and kidney disease, diabetes is categorically contraindicated.
2 Waiting BOSCOM Very useful at least once a day, or better twice, in the morning and evening, walk, run barefoot on the ground. Both in summer and winter, and in the off-season, in any weather - all year round. What does it give? First, the actual hardening. First, the resistance to colds increases, as the feet are reflexively connected with our tonsils. Cooling the feet, we thus harden the throat. But the tonsils are an immune shield that stands in the way of many diseases. Secondly, the revival of internal organs. Therefore, walking barefoot is beneficial in diseases of the liver, eyes, stomach and pancreas, intestines, heart, lungs, kidneys, etc. Third, standing barefoot, we lose the accumulated static electricity. Usually, it is possible to start walking barefoot without special preparation (though in winter it is desirable to pour cold water on the legs beforehand, having walked barefoot on the floor). In summer, you can walk as much as you want. In winter, it is better to step on the snow and return immediately. Then very gradually increase the time, guided by their feelings. By the end of the first winter, it is desirable to bring it up to 2-5 minutes. In case of severe frost it is better to walk or run because if you stand still, you can get frostbite at first. Upon return, feet are washed only with cold water. It is impossible to describe the sensations of revival, renewal, especially strong in the first months of training.
In the conclusion, it is possible to tell that, the future, certainly, behind any medicine, for nowadays stresses and passions, any kind of infringements of ecology anything so will help the person, as the methods developed by our scientists and ancestors. Hardening, auto training, cleansing of the body, proper nutrition along with chemicals allow us to maintain health.
