It's autumn. In the garden the weeds have died, the sunflowers have bowed to the ground, the plums are dropping yellow and brown leaves on the ground, and the cherry has long since flown so hastily that it can't wait to change its outfit to a winter snowdress.

On a nice October day cats go for a walk.

The eldest, turtle cat named Masha walks along the lanes with a moustache, inspecting his possessions. Over time, she has lost her zeal and is now more like a grandmother on the rubble. Masha likes to sit on the roof of the barn and look around: something is being done outside? What about the neighbors? It's fat and moving slowly. Out of her worries, she has to sit or lie somewhere else and look after her granddaughter Pears.

Pears, which, when they do something, are strictly called Agraphena's full name, have recently turned three months old. She runs along the lanes without fear of anything, although she has only recently begun to go out on the street. She will jump over a rotten bush of garden strawberries, then chew on a blade of grass with thoughtfulness, then rush to some branch caught on the head. Despite all her zeal and seeming fearlessness, she does not go far from her elders and studies the world under their supervision.

The pear outwardly is a full copy of her moustache daddy, the one-year-old cat Shustrik. Shustrick, of course, is not a random nickname. There was no such a zesty cat in our house yet. Still small, this teenage angular cat managed to school every day and, as they say, just did not run on the ceiling. That things from a table will shake down, that will undress a sofa, that will start to run on a house so that the floor trembles. On the run he knocks down stools, hits the corners and rushes on.

Shustrik's passion is shreds. At lunch he is not visible and not heard, he does not climb, like some, directly on the table in search of delicious. But try to unfold the candy over tea! Then suddenly there appears a high raised fluffy tail with another tangled burdock in it. "Give it to me" is the expression of a striped face with blue and grey eyes. Then you have to crumple the wrapper and throw it away. The Shustrik takes off and brings it in his teeth like a gasoline dog wearing its own diarrhea.

But once in the garden, Shustrik loses all his energy. He moves around with his stomach on the ground and sits on his hind legs. How scary it is on the street! There is a big bird sitting on the fence, which is probably a dove. Branches sway, turnips clinging, leaves rustle, how not to be confused! And Shustrik meows loudly with fear, and then sits in one place for a long time, afraid to move.

The pear inherited from it and gray and blue eyes, and black and brown color with stripes, and white face, and restless character. Even the stripes were compared - all as if one were copied. But there is no fear in it, and there is only impudence, impudence and a sense of impunity.

The last one goes for a walk cat Plyushka, turtle motley with a red back and white socks on his feet, a young housewife. Soft and chubby, which earned her nickname, she washes away her daughter, who resists, hurrying to escape on her cat's business. The teddy sits somewhere on the roof and looks after Pear. She just climbed onto the plum.

The plum is big and high. It's time to go down, but Pear doesn't know how to do it, and only crawls from branch to branch. You could jump on a fence, but it's far and high, and how can you let go of such an unreliable branch?

Seeing her confusion, Plyushka and Masha begin to rush downstairs and prompt in their cat's tongue. Finally, Plyusha cleverly climbs the plum and starts to show how to do it by example.

Nothing works! This experienced and grown-up Teddy can so easily climb up and down, and the little and stupid Pear is doomed to a terrible starvation death.

The moment is critical. The pear slips down the trunk, first head down, then tail down, and finally flops right to the ground. Saved!

Somewhere in the corner of the garden Shustrik meows. It seems that he himself needs help to save himself from the burdock. At least, scissors and a comb wouldn't hurt.

Sometimes a local stray cat, light, with a pale tail, comes into the garden. His appearance produces a real panic among the walkers. The first to run is the Pear to hide. She rescues herself at home, and one day after such an incident she has already been lost and desperate, but then she showed up because of the fridge. Such a brave man to look for!

Stuffy Stuffy and Shustrik usually follow. Shustrik immediately hides on the closet, and Stuffy stays at the front door and looks into the slot: isn't the danger over?

And only Masha accepts the fight, announcing the neighborhood suitable for the occasion howling, and returns, dumped in the mud and fallen leaves. A few leaves stick to her back.

In the evening, the family gathers on the kitchen table, showing home that this rookery of seals belongs only to them. The four of them lie down and despite their owners' scolding, they lick each other out, bring up the Pear and finally fall asleep until they are driven away. Then they go to the desk.

They need to rest. Tomorrow will be another difficult day.
