UMEN BATTERIES
There's a whole lot of different batteries in here again. As it becomes clear, the plant itself is located in the city of Tyumen, began to exist in the 20th year of the last century. However, in 2005 it was reorganized.
At the moment it produces many different brands, such as TYUMEN BATTERY, UMEN BATTERIER, Agstis Batbear, Umen Bear, Yamal, etc.
I have personally dealt with UMEN BATTERIES and the Umen Bear (or many of them simply call it "the Bear"). The battery of good quality and the company assures that they are designed for a harsh environment (that is, severe cold).
Batteries are now available to all modern standards, as are AGM and EFB technologies.
I advise you to take the UMEN BATTERY and the BEAR because I've seen them, but I can't say anything about the other brands.
The average price is about 45 to 53 USD. That's about 23 to 38 cheaper than foreign analogs. The third deserved a place in my rating.
ASOM
The history of the brand is very vague, and there is little information on the network. But I found this (sorry if I'm wrong). Production was established in 2002, again by EXIDE - TUDOR holding. But in 2005 a joint venture with "Varta Autobatterie GmbH" was established. So now it is not clear to whom and how "Akom" owns it and all the brands that are part of this holding, in general, will break a leg.
And the brands are not a few - it is Akom, ULTIMATUM, REACTOR, BRAVO, RUSBAT.
I myself have faced exactly with Akom batteries (that's why I'm going to advise him), they have been walking for a long time and without any problems. A friend's car costs ULTIMATUM AGM, for the third year already, I want to go to see this miracle, but I do not succeed (lives in another city).
It should be noted that the batteries of this company are also supplied abroad to many conveyors of car manufacturers.
There are all quality standards, as well as modern technologies, such as EFB and AGM.
The price is for AKOM, 60 Ah, approximately from 56 to 65 USD. It is worth noting that even EFB can be charged for 4200. Deserved 4th place in the ranking.
BARS batteries
If you count all the brands and sub-brands, then we get the rating is not the top 5, but the top 15! Therefore, I would like to mention our Kazakhstani neighbor. I was wondering whether to include it in the previous rating or this one. Nevertheless, Kazakhstan is a friendly country, so it would be more logical to include it here.
YES, and most of the BARS batteries are mainly used in China , Russia, and then in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Belarus, and the UAE.
The Taldykorgan Lead Battery Plant was established in 1975 in the USSR. Now the brand is owned by Kainar-AKB.
In addition to BARS, it includes KAINAR, VOZHAK, NOMAD and UNIKUM brands.
It should be noted that BARS batteries were very popular in our country a few years ago, I had a few friends and acquaintances who rode with them, and did not experience any problems. However, now they are increasingly being replaced by Russian manufacturers, which are in our market, I will repeat just a huge number.
As much as I haven't searched, I haven't found a Kazakhstani manufacturer of AGM and EFB technology. But ordinary calcium batteries, you can safely take.
The price for the 60 amp version starts from 47 to 57 USD. The warranty is often from 1 to 2 years.
That's where I'm finishing my top of the Russian batteries, again, to rule out all the shouting that "I've taken a brand from the list, and it's "dead" from me, I haven't even had time to put it on the car". I'll remind everyone - before buying a new battery, check the current leaks, generator, alarm system, etc., otherwise you can even kill a new battery in a few days.
