In a warm southern city where chestnuts bloom and the sun is gentle and gentle, wherein a large, full-flowing river you can splash from spring to autumn, there, where summer holidays turn into paradise holidays, two friends live - Senka and Wenka. From the outside, it might seem that every day they are pointless stagger around the yard and around the city. But that was not so. Friends had their own daily vacation plans. And today, wandering around the yard in the morning, they decided to go to the zoo.
The guys loved to walk around the zoo. They especially liked the funny monkeys. Watching them, Wenka suspected that Senka, his friend, certainly descended from a monkey. One of the monkeys, who looked as dirty as his friend, was especially like Senka, she strove to eat something faster than your comrades.
Senka, frowning, brows, nozzles and silently chewing ice cream, watched the gluttony of his "relative".
“Senka, look, and this monkey is like you,” said Venka.
“Why is it on me and not on you?” grumbled Senka.
- Yes, because you need to look in the mirror more often and chew less often!
- And I love to chew something, but I have no time to look in the mirror.
- What are you doing interestingly, even if you don’t have time to do your homework? - asked Wenka.
- I have one serious and very responsible “business”, but no one I will not say.
- Senka, have a conscience because I am your friend and you must tell me everything.
Having said this, Venka looked intently into Senka's eyes but was unable to see anything. Rather, I didn’t even see the eye, because Senka, frowning even more eyebrows looked around.
- What are you looking for? asked Wenka.
“We need to chew something, and then the ice cream is over,” Senka muttered, scratching his head.
- Well then, say goodbye to the "kinsman" and go buy something to chew on you. And anyway, you constantly chew something. Where does all this go? You're skinny how is the skeleton? - wondered Wenka.
- I have everything useful for going to the brain!
“You have gathered so much useful there that it’s time to apply it somewhere.”
- Here for this my "business" I am accumulating such "reserves".
- And for lessons, your "reserves" may be suitable? And then I'm tired of doing everything for you.
- Probably they can, but I can’t say for sure, I haven’t tried it - Senka frowned even more.
- And you try.
Friends wandered further, moving away from the cells with monkeys. Venka turned around for a moment and was surprised to see how the monkey, Senka’s distant relative, looks after them sadly. She even stopped chewing. "So Senka still recognized for her," thought Venka and glanced at his friend. He walked confidently to the cotton candy tray.
“Let's buy more,” Senka said.
- What for? - was taken aback by Wenka.
- I want to feed the camel.
- He will not eat cotton candy.
- Why? - Senka raised his eyebrows in surprise, - I ate, but he will not?
- And you go to your "relative" - ask the monkeys, she should know.
- What are you talking about, what kind of "relative"?
- Come on, forget it! - waved a hand Venka.
Having bought cotton candy, friends went to the aviary with a camel. What a handsome man he was, to come to the zoo and not admire this miracle of nature would be
unforgivable. Therefore, Senka and Wenka, paying tribute to the "desert ship", every time they visited the zoo, they always went to look at the camel. Sometimes even fed, although the plates on the fences of the enclosures are strict - strictly forbidden the feeding of animals.
But for friends, treating a camel with a treat was more than just feeding. It was a kind of recognition of respect for this. noble animal, almost like the ancient offerings to the gods. Wenka, each time looking at the camel, was amazed at his head high and proudly raised, it seemed too clever eyes, thick red-brown hair, and such large and powerful humps. He very often found himself thinking that the camel, although a noble animal, in his understanding, but for some reason constantly chews like Senka. "Maybe he also planned some business," thought
Wenka, squinting at Senka. And a friend, sniffing and chewing “cotton wool”, with his second hand through the bars poked the bought treats into the camel's face. He is probably chewing his
beloved thorns, intensely turned his nose from an intrusive visitor. Wenka watched with interest the friend’s actions but tried not to interfere, to find out how it all ends.
"And why does he need cotton candy if he loves thorns? And why does he love thorns? And where does he find them here? Or maybe he doesn't like thorns, but he’s different do not give food? Let him then eat cotton candy.
Or the thorns are tastier, it will be necessary to pick them up and try them somewhere, "thought Senka, chewing and frowning his already frowning eyebrows.
The camel, perplexed, bulged out its already huge eyes, crowned with large eyelashes and turned its noble face in one direction, then in the other,
trying to dodge an incomprehensible treat. But he was not going to leave personal pride. This went on for a very long time and therefore the bewilderment of the camel became replaced by light, like the morning breeze in the desert - irritation, rolling into a rage. Gathering chewed with saliva in his mouth, he aimed threw this thick and rather odorous substance into his visitor, this small, but so harmful and annoying human cub.
Venka bounced off the grate at the same moment when he saw that something yellowish - gray and flying right in the face flies out of the mouth of the "noble animal"
his "noble friend." The spattered, Senka, having dropped cotton candy from his hands, slowly backed away and roared like a bear that was immediately bitten by thousands of bees. The people began to look back at the roar, wondering what had happened, and who dared to touch the bear? Then he saw what's the matter, people began to laugh at Senka. Wenka grabbed a friend's hand and pulled to the exit.
“What was it, Venka?” Senka yelled, wiping his camel saliva from his face.
- It was a healthy reaction of a sweet and kind animal to yours.
painful interest!
“Something 'reaction' is very viscous and smells,” Senka yelled, wiping his sticky face.
- And as you like, say thanks that he did not turn to you with the back of his body, then you would remember him for a long time.
“Thank you, but I won’t forget him now, because I wanted to feed him tasty,” Senka chattered.
“Well, then would you really know how a delicious camel comes out of a camel.”
“He did not eat anything except his thorns all his life.”
- What are the thorns Senka, why are you? Where are we from? Those thorns that he eats do not grow here, ”Wenka said with a clever look.
“And where are they growing?” He stopped, thinking, and recalling his thoughts at the cage Senka.
“In the desert!” Wenka said shortly.
- In the desert, you say. Well then, I have one more “case”.
“What is the“ business ”?” Venka sighed wearily. “You didn’t tell me about the first“ business ”.
“The first will wait, and this must be considered.” Let's go buy something to chew, ”Senka confidently declared with a frown on his spat eyebrows.
Venka, looking at his friend, sighed, spread his hands and wandered after him. He did not even dare to think about what his friend had thought up this time.
But to leave Senka, the most curious and restless boy of the country unattended, Venka did not dare.
A friend even spat upon by a camel, will still remain a friend!
