Approximately thirty people were standing outside the network building preparing to storm it.

- Are you ready? - Bruce asked.

The crowd approved, lifting up iron sticks and rods.

- Then go ahead! - The leader commanded the crowd, after which people broke into the building.

On the second floor there was a first encounter with robots. The rebels were so excited that they dared to do so with little loss. The rebels were winning from the robots floor by floor until they reached the top of the building.

Only Bruce, Hellina and the other three rebels managed to take the height. Wounded and exhausted, they fought to the last robot. And so he was finally defeated.

It seemed to them that they had won, but it was not so.

There was a shot, and the young girl fell dead.

- Hellina! - Bruce leaned over her breathless body.

- Well, hello, partner.

Bruce looked up. He saw a familiar face on the balcony. Tony smiled cheekily at him, crossing his arms. Although it wasn't exactly his hands...

They were heavy-duty metal implants. The legs and torso, all but the head, were made of the same material. It was a real killing machine.

Three rebels rushed to the murderer to take revenge, but the murderer had no difficulty killing them.

- That's all..." Tony started. - The mutiny is depressed. Before I killed you, I wanted to say thank you.

- Thank you... Bruce repeated it indifferently.

- If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have gotten it all. It's a beautiful new body, and of course it's digitized. - Tony smirked.

When he approached Bruce, he put a knife to his throat.

- But you had only six months to digitize... Who would have thought it would end like this...

- Hey, asshole! - Bruce and Tony saw Joe.

- How about a fight with me, iron? - Joe started to swing his swords spectacularly.

- It will take no more than a minute. - Tony said and took away the knife.

The fight started. The advantage was on Tony's side, but Joe had a clear talent to get away from the most insidious strikes of the enemy.

At some point, Tony lost sight of Joe.

- So what are you running from me for? And now he's hiding... You're a pathetic loser and you'll never beat me!

Cotton came along and Tony rushed right away.

- Where are you? - He asked how he was pierced by the sword that second.

Tony fell to his knees. Oil splashed out of the abdominal wound.

- What did you do? - he yelled. - You ruined it! Spoiled this beautiful body!

- You lost! - Joe said, standing behind Tony.

- Did I lose? - Tony smirked and then, as if nothing had happened, jumped on his feet and started attacking again.

- You can do it! - Encouraged his friend Bruce. - I believe in you!

Tony looked at the sword stuck in his belly.

- Hmm... Kill you with your own weapon!

Joe ran into Tony, but he put the block with his sword out of his mind. Then Tony conducted a successful attack, seriously wounding Joe in the leg. She immediately blew blood out of her.

- Now you're not going anywhere. This is your last fight.

Tony was on Joe's way to non-stop attacks, he barely had time to dodge.

- How long will you last? For a minute, for two?

Joe's strength was running out. Tony hit him a few more blows to the legs before he finally fell to his knees.

- That's all..." Tony stabbed Joe with his sword.

Joe clenched his teeth in pain from hell.

- Hey!" Bruce shouted.

- You can't wait..." Tony replied, and his head fell to the floor that second.

- It wasn't fair..." he said the last words, after which his eyes closed and his body collapsed on the floor.

Bruce ran up to Joe.

- You're clever! - Bruce rejoiced at Joe's victory.

- Did you really believe in me?

- Don't be deceived. - Bruce smiled. - When will you get a new body?

- The loan was over... It was really my last fight...

- Oh, shit. I'm sorry...

- What's most offensive is that they didn't take bets on this fight.

- The law of meanness. - Bruce grinned.

- Go and finish with it... - Joe took his last breath and froze.

Bruce walked into the center of the network.

- Hello, Adam! - A woman's voice was heard from the speakers.

- Adam? No, it's not Adam...

- Not Adam? It doesn't matter, though. Whoever you are, turn me off as soon as possible! Don't hesitate!

- Who are you?

- I am Eve. You call me a network. Turn me off, I don't want to live!

- But...

- To go down that road! And it's all in vain... - Bruce turned around and saw Andrew. - Such a production would be envied by Shakespeare himself...

- What are you talking about?

- Every time she plays a play, it's getting more and more complicated...

- Explain to me what this means at last!

- Your whole life... None of this happened. She came up with all this. - Edrew fell apart in the chair and continued. - Revenge is the most effective motivation. This is your card. Duty is your gladiator friend. Love... Love is such an ingredient that you have to add salt to almost every dish, otherwise it is not tasty. Fear of death... Here you can read a whole lecture...

- What are you trying to say?

- A mortal burns like a match, there's not much sense in it... But to an immortal without meaning. That's why I created it. The first truly artificial intelligence... The intellect, whose program contains the task to give people meanings... Well, to have at least some order, otherwise everything will turn into chaos. But each time, it seems like a virus is launched into the same mechanism. The machine realizes itself as a human being, it wants to be! Although now I understand that this is not surprising at all, because its thinking is created in our image and likeness ... And, in the end, it even understands that it will never be able to become a human being ... But like any of us, it hopes until the last moment that Adam will come and save it ...

- Don't listen to him! - came out of the speakers. - Just turn me off!

- Calm down, sweetheart! No matter how hard you try, you're just a computer program. Adam will never save you.

- Is that all... Wait, but I was never online!

- Wasn't online? - Andrew laughed. - Today, you don't have to be online to get into a person's head at all. Other people, the media, advertising... The impact and influence are non-stop! Today, absolutely everything is online, just somebody doesn't know about it, or doesn't want to know or lies to themselves...

- What are you gonna do with it? - Bruce asked.

- Reboot. - Andrew exhaled. - Nothing better has come up yet...
