Tips "experienced" Part 2

If you don't have a habit of keeping your fingers on the brake lever, it's better to have this habit. At first it is uncomfortable, but it gives a few tenths of a second from the beginning of the braking moment. A hanging finger above the signal button helps. An early beep can scare away or at least attract attention.

If a collision is unavoidable, you must be ready to "eject". It's always better to fall away from the bike, and you don't have to be afraid to do it - it's a lot safer than throwing away with it. Even if you see that a tangential impact cannot be avoided, it is still better to push the bike away from you in the direction of the intended impact. You need to be ready for this at any second and don't relax. Riding a motorcycle is not a checker game.

Before you start to ride on the green light, look in both directions. Do not release the brake until you are really ready to start moving (Otherwise, the driver behind you will most likely get an instinctive visual signal that you will ride in a moment when you see the stop lights go out).

Do not cross the double solid line. This brings us all a bad reputation.

When stopping at traffic lights, do not stand behind the car in front of you, always have the opportunity to sneak to the right or left in case of approaching danger from behind. In order not to be squeezed between two bumpers, when you approach the car from behind along your lane, turn on the first gear and be ready to come out of its niche and make room for someone who does not have time to brake.

In very cold weather even before the first gear switching on, the glued clutch disks should be "torn off". It is better to do it with the engine not running, to switch on the first gear and to move the motorcycle back and forth when the clutch is pressed out. Now you can start the engine and change gears easily. Difficulties arise from the fact that cool oil will be able to "glu" the clutch discs, and in the event of careless engagement of the gearbox without the described release may damage the gearbox.

Please make sure to use the turnbuckles! These devices are not designed for beauty!

Markings on the road - makes life easier. Thanks to it, chaotic movement is lined up in more or less slender rows. But here's an ambush - if it's plastic, it's as slippery as ice. If you just drive it, it's okay, but if you try to slow down, then don't be surprised that the wheels will snap much earlier. And if it is wet - then beware! I have had cases when I was standing on a zebra (not good, of course, but what to do?) could not move away from the place, slippage soulful turned out.

To tramways, as well is to railway moving it is necessary to concern rather cautiously. I recommend to cross them as possible at a blunt angle, and best of all, at a right angle. It is best to pass them on even gas. This does not always work, as the road surface in these places often resembles a battlefield.

If it starts to rain, the recommendations are as follows:
a) Wear a rainbow combo. There is nothing good in getting wet and killing you. And the raincoat saves a lot.
b) Slow down the pace of movement and increase attention.
c) If this is the first time you are caught, calm down, but still be collected. You should not be nervous or in a hurry. This is not as scary as it may seem at first glance. The main thing is to get used to it.
d) Any movement and maneuvers should be smooth. Open the gas slowly, do not pawn too much and God forbid to brake sharply. In general, the manner of driving is similar to the car winter. It is necessary to know how to drive in hard weather conditions, because in good weather it will be easier then.

When driving you need to completely disconnect yourself from other people's thoughts and focus. It is desirable to train peripheral vision: look directly in front of you, without turning your head, and keep in sight as many road users as possible. When reconstructing or performing any other maneuver it is necessary not only to look in the mirrors, but to turn your head to check the "dead zone" (especially for beginners: if it is scary and unclear whether it is possible to go, for example, at the exit to the right at the intersection, it is better to stop). When overtaking or rebuilding it is necessary to check from behind not only that lane on which you leave, but also that from which you leave (i.e. to look both to the left and to the right), as there are the peppers, galloping through three rows: it just wasn't there, bam, and it is already near. You don't need to stay in the dead zone of the car yourself - you are not flung out of spite, but it makes you feel better. Train yourself to look in the mirrors every few seconds, even standing at the crossroads - this habit can someday save you. When crossing closed intersections, even if you're going to a green traffic light, it's better to slow down - idiots are still enough. This also applies to the start from the traffic light - someone can fly to the "red"...
