Buddha said four holy

The meaning of bitterness
Bitterness refers to the phenomenon of suffering. All sentient beings will suffer from the pain of the body and heart because they fail to break their troubles and get out of reincarnation. In terms of life, there are eight kinds of suffering:
First, the bitterness: When born, it is painful because the body is pressed and the living environment changes drastically.
Second, old bitterness. When people reach old age, they not only lose their beautiful appearance, but also all kinds of organs and physical strength are gradually declining. The heart is filled with the shadow of death, and all kinds of distress also come one after another.
Third, the disease is suffering. The patients are also inevitable, some are physical diseases, some are psychological diseases. Especially when the years are weak, it is more likely to suffer from refractory and even incurable diseases.
Fourth, death and suffering.. At the end of life, in addition to the feeling of horror and despair in the soul, the various parts of the body also feel different kinds of pain.
Fifth, Love does not leave the suffering. No matter how close the dear ones, you can't get together forever. When you don't leave, you have to suffer the pain of life and death.
Sixth, resentment will be bitter. In life, it will inevitably encounter people and things that can be annoying, and the heart feels pain.
Seven, seeking no hardship. People always have a lot of desires, such as greed for money, reputation and status, etc., but it is not easy to satisfy, thus causing a lot of pain.
Eight, five connotations are blazing. People have a life consisting of five connotations, the body and the mind have many needs and uneasiness, causing all kinds of troubles and pains.
Among the eight sufferings, the first four are physiological; the latter four are psychological. The physical pain is obvious, but the psychological pain is not easy to detect, but no matter what kind of suffering, everyone must bear it, no matter how poor, rich, expensive, and awkward. Therefore, we should be brave enough to face the reality and find ways to get rid of it.
The meaning of the collection
Set refers to the cause of pain.
A good doctor, before heals the disease, must first find out the source of the disease before he can prescribe the right medicine. Similarly, we must find out the cause of the pain before finding a way to liberate. What is the cause of the pain in life? This is because we are driven by troubles, and because of all kinds of bad things, we are in a cycle of life and death. There are three main troubles:
First, greed. Human beings have the desire to possess and desire, no matter what they want to occupy more than others, better than others. As the desire grows, it is even harder to satisfy, so it breaks into the abyss of material desire and cannot extricate itself.
Second, you are troubled.. For people and things, dissatisfaction and resentment are embarrassing, which is caused by stubborn opinions and the inability to satisfy their own greed. If you hate your heart, you will lose your senses and hurt others.
Third, obsessed with troubles.. People are ignorant, unclear is idiot. Because of unclear affair, we should not blindly pursue greed; it is not irritating but impulsive, so obsessive is the help of evil.
Due to the three kinds of troubles of greed, jealousy and idiots, we continue to create our own businesses, which leads to the cycle of life and death and suffers all kinds of pains. If you can get rid of your troubles, your pain can be completely relieved.
The meaning of annihilation
In the cycle of life and death, we are distressed and persecuted, and naturally, hope to get rid of the pain. If you can follow the instructions of the Buddha to practice and root out all the troubles, then the power of life and death will cease, and a safe and quiet state will emerge. This state of transcendence is not delineated through language and words, but it is a real existence that can be obtained by every being.
The meaning of the switch
The doctor does not look at the patient, he can manage the patient well, and he needs the right medicine. The patient has hope for recovery. Similarly, the Buddha first points out the key to the reincarnation of the sentient beings, and then proposes a method of suffering. However, the circumstances of every sentient being are not the same. Therefore, there are different ways for the Buddha to teach others to practice. However, in summary, there is no scope for precepts, definiteness, and wisdom.
First, the ring. Ring is the norm that restricts the body, language, and meaning, so that people can stay away from evil, and even the motive for doing evil does not arise. Therefore, the Buddha establishes five precepts and ten good for the believers at home. More precepts.
We can keep the ring and we won't break into the three evils. On the contrary, you can't keep guard, even the following can be said that the magical effect of Hui can't arise.
Second, fixed. Is to make the mind focus on one place, generally called meditation. If you have a perseverance, you will not only have a feeling of brisk and comfortable body, but also have a special mental state.
Meditation can sweep away all distractions, so that the inner silence is there, and the wisdom appears.
Third, Hui. Hui is the ability to distinguish between good and evil. It is shallow and deep, and those wisdoms that can break the troubles need to be obtained from the practice of meditation.
Those who believe in Buddhist monasticism must start from the ring, the set, and the Hui. This is the only way to Nirvana, and there is no other way.
Four relationships
From the perspective of the cycle of life and death, the collection is the cause of suffering in the world. The bitterness is the bitter fruit of the world. From the perspective of liberation, the Tao is the cause of the world, and the annihilation is the joy of the world. However, due to the lack of regret and pain in the cycle of life and death, it has become the driving force for us to enhance our personality and seek liberation. Therefore, there are not two completely unrelated situations in the world and in the world.
