Sangha is so important, so it is called the three treasures together with the leader and the teaching method.
Sangha's commandments
According to the Buddhist system, the monk must shave the hair, the cap, and the ring. The purpose of shaving hair and cloak is to abandon the beautiful clothes and practice a simple life. This is a necessary condition for the Sangha in the shape; the ordination is to accept the rules set by the Buddha to restrain his body, language and meaning. Three industries.
In the Sangha, the adult has been called the monk, and must obey the two hundred and fifty rings; the females are called bhiksuni, and must obey the five hundred rings. Those who have not yet reached adulthood and fail to accept the bhikkhu and bhikshuni, the males are called Shami, and the females are called Shamini. They only need to obey the Ten Commandments.
In order to cultivate the Tao and to restrain the evil thoughts, the monks must live a strict discipline and live only under certain circumstances. For example, obey the non-drinking ring, the public is strictly prohibited to drink alcohol, only when you are sick, you need to use the medicine to take it. The order of the monks and the young is based on the years of the ordination. Those who have been ordained for more than 20 years are called "senior seats" or "elders". Those with deeper ages are called "big seats" or "big elders."
