The story of the 47 ronins is one of Japan's national legends, a manifestation of Bushido (samurai code) and a history of revenge and loyalty.

Her idea was spread all over the world and told in a recent film with Keanu Reeves in the lead role. Ronin Motorworks decided to pay tribute to the 47 wars of this legend and created a special limited edition line of motorcycles. There are only 47 motorcycles in the line, each named after one of the ronin samurai.

The story of Ronin Motorworks began in mid-2009 when Harley-Davidson decided to stop maintaining the Buell brand. As part of the experiment, the founders of Ronin Motorworks, who have always honored the Buell philosophy of challenging the status quo, created the Ronin Concept Motorcycle concept. Thanks to their own patience and support from Magpul Industries, they have managed to turn the bold concept into a real product.

So if you're still upset that you stopped making Buell 1125 in 2010, you're in luck. Now you can buy a new Superbike based on Buell 1125, and it looks like it just left the movie "The Dark Knight".

The Buell 1125 was worth $1,695 in the U.S. market, and the Ronin 47 will cost $38,000 or more - and what did you want from such an exclusive motorcycle? But the customer will still get more than just a Buell 1125 in the new wrapper. And the main thing: number 47 in the name specifies the quantity of bikes in this series so the owner precisely will not meet the second such motorcycle on the road.

The project is funded by Magpul Industries, a company primarily engaged in the production of high-tech firearms. The company knows something about explosions, so, first of all, they paid attention to the Rotax engine. It is known for producing a lot of heat, even though it produces fuel in a boiling frame. In this regard, a powerful radiator is now installed at the front, connected to a tank hidden inside the left fork tube. Next to it, there are dipped-beam and high beam headlamps arranged vertically.

Other weaknesses of the Buell 1125 were not overlooked and were corrected with the ruthless precision of the weapon manufacturer. Showa's forks are no longer there, but instead, a new aluminum alloy linkage fork has been installed, with which the bike looks spectacular as if it had leaned forward, hunched down.

At the heart of the fork is the Penske shock absorber, which allows you to precisely adjust the suspension to the weight of the driver and road conditions.

The organs of government - a masterpiece of industrial design. This means that the bike has custom hydraulic radial master cylinders and adjustable levers for brakes and clutches. The cisterns are located on top of the cylinders, and the levers have regulators to adjust their position, as people still have different hands.

The clutch lever housing also includes a four-position switch that controls the display on the dashboard integrated into the cast aluminum niche in the steering wheel. The bike is powered by an RFID chip that activates the receiver under the air intake cover. The new, sophisticated wiring with a sophisticated wire braid and high-performance stator was designed specifically for the Ronin design to eliminate the possibility of overheating.

The Rotax engine has been modified to run at lower temperatures (the standard Buell 1125 had overheating problems). Fuel settings have also been changed to match the unique inlet system and low backpressure outlet system.

Apparently, the power is just over 146 horsepower, which was claimed by the original Buell 1125. In addition, the Ronin is about 20 kilograms lighter, so the bike should be faster and more nimble.

For such an expensive, exclusive and impractical bike, which is derived from the original concept, it is surprisingly well thought out to the smallest detail. The bottom-mounted silencer has a ceramic coating to protect it from debris and fragments on the road, and one die-cast aluminum block includes wheel tripods, a battery box and a belt tensioning roller. The entire construction is fitted to the engine and fits perfectly with it.

The rear subframe is welded with tungsten arc welding in shielding gas (TIG welding) and CNC machined, and is also connected to the cast aluminum rear and the air intake housing. Thus, it is a single supporting element of the construction. The main engine control unit is located at the front of the brake signal, and a convenient button is provided for removing the seat and opening the seat.

In general, the technical equipment of the motorcycle is at the height and causes only admiration, and the appearance is fantastic. The price of such a miracle, of course, is great: as we noted above, the Ronin 47 will cost from $38,000 (47 bikes will be sold in lots with different finishes, and some will be even more expensive). It is much more expensive than, for example, Buell EBR 1190 RX, but before us a unique, collectible car. Heavy Harley-Davidson CVO Limited will manage approximately in the same sum, but it will not be so interesting to the provided collector.
