Requesting a monk
A few years after the Buddha became enlightened, he returned to his hometown of Kabira, and he visited the father and king, and it caused a burst of joy in the palace. His every move, a word, all left a deep impression on everyone, even the net rice king also converted to the three treasures, many Wang children also have monks. Mrs. Bobo Boti looked in her eyes and gave birth to the idea of being a monk, and immediately received the response of 500 women.
Two years later, when the Buddha returned to the Acropolis of Kabira, Bobo Boti took 500 women to see the Buddha. After they worshipped Buddha, they reverently asked to say:
"Buddha! Please be compassionate and let our women be monks!"
However, the Buddha was worried that when women were born, they would have to live a life like a bhikkhu. There are many dangers and inconveniences, and they categorically refused to say:
"As long as you work hard to cultivate the Tao, whether you are at home or at home, you can also get rid of life and death. Let's stay at home and practice the Tao! This is more beneficial to us, and even to Buddhism as a whole."
Although the Buddha did not agree to their request, Bobo Boti’s desire to be a monk was very real. She and 500 women shaved their hair first, put on a shackle, and when everything was ready, go see Buddha.
However, at this time, the Buddha has gone to other places to promote the Fa. The lady had to lead five hundred women to rush. After a long day of trekking, they finally caught up with the Buddha, but they were already exhausted.
The Buddha was touched by their sincerity, and as long as they promised to accept the leadership of the Bhikkhu group, they were allowed to become monks.
Since then Buddhism has had a bhikshuni, with four disciples.
Leading the public
In the future, whenever a woman wants to be a monk, the Buddha asks Popoti to shave for them. Therefore, in principle, the Bhikuni Scorpion is led by the Buddha, but in fact it is centered on Bobo Bodhi.
After Bo Bobo made his family, he tried to cultivate the Tao on the one hand, and on the other hand, he assisted the Buddha in the cultivation of education with humility and enthusiasm. For the poor and sick, she always went to condolences; if there were natural disasters and man-made disasters everywhere, she immediately led the women to rescue. Under her influence, many families followed the Buddha's education. Therefore, not only women are willing to accept her leadership, but many big bhikkhus also admire her.
Into Nirvana
Bobo Boti lived in Ninety and Twenties before entering Nirvana. At the funeral, the Buddha praised her to the public:
"You can't treat Bobo Botti Bicuni as a normal woman. She is really a female husband! Her noble character and great behavior can serve as a good example of the Sangha!"

Zhishou Bhikuni was a man of the Tang Dynasty during the Kaiyuan years. His birthplace and birth and death are unknown. After living in the Tongshan Temple in Tengzhou, because she is proficient in discipline, many monks and nuns have been enlightened by her education.
Dongdu Japan
At that time, the Japanese were very admired for the Chinese culture. Therefore, they sent the two monks of Puzhao and Rongrui to seek Buddhism, and asked Jianzheng lawyer of Yangzhou Daming Temple to travel to Japan to teach the law. Jianzhen saw that they were sincere in seeking the Fa. Although they knew that there were many obstacles in the sea, they also resolutely agreed.
However, after six departures to Japan, they encountered various setbacks and failed. In the 12th year of Emperor Xuanzong's Tianbao (AD 753), Jianzhen took 41 people and relentlessly carried out the seventh Dongdu Pass.
When Zhishun Bichuni heard the news, she asked her to go with her. Jianzheng worried that sailing was dangerous and hard, and women were not easy to resist. I wanted to refuse it. Later, I was moved by her sincerity and finally agreed.
After the arrival of Zhishou Bhikuni in Japan, he assisted in the practice of authentic Japanese law and devoted himself to educating Japanese women.
