Exotic Short-form cat by type and liking of Persian, but with more short "teddy" wool. Some call them teddy bears, some call them Persians for the lazy. It's appropriate to make both comparisons. Exotics are measured and quite pleasant creatures. Their voice can be heard in the highest degree occasionally.
Exotic Shorthair is a perfect breed of cat for general habitation. This is a uniquely cute, tasty, peaceful and correct companions, very affectionate and adoring. However, for all their own love, exotics are not considered cats, who will immediately love everyone and everyone in order.
Exot does not once impose his conversation and does not insist on being taken care of every day. Exotic cats love their owners more than cats. Cats are usually more autonomous. Each time they have more important things to do than just work and almond with you. For a cat the owner is considered an object of awe.

Exot was noticed in the USA in the sixties and was registered by the American Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) as "Shorthair Persian Silver".
The exotic Shorthair cat (exotic Shorthair cat) was obtained from a cross between a Persian and an American Shorthair cat in the early 1960s. At that time, Americans were already making their own Persian cat with a Pekinese face in the direction of endless years. The South American image of a Persian cat is a short nose, a round face and small ears. And some breeders of American exotics (domestic cats with pedigrees) crossed in the case of their own cats with the Persians, in order to arrange their cheeks more round, and the body is more stocky.
Those who were concerned about the purity of the breed were dissatisfied and excited about the mix with the Persians, but mestizos were increasingly liked by the public and the referees. The opposition appeared - mestizo was emphasized as a special breed. And the new one, as round as Persian, was called "exotic" and recognized by CFA. And South American short-haired South Americans retained their identity and a certain personal stereotype.
Since then, other breeds have also been involved, freely or unwillingly, in the development of the Shorthair Persian. For example, to obtain chocolate color, a Persian cat was crossed with sable burmese. All kittens were short-haired.
The breed of exotics is now perfectly fixed. It hasn't been crossed with anybody, except Persians, for 2 or 3 generations, in order to fix a dense wineskin and thick undercoat.
Wool of exotics is actually thick as in teddy toys, without a luxurious collar, it is worth a hedgehog, actually that prepares their head round as a tennis ball, and the body is stocky as a bear. But with this one, they guard the cat's grace.
Before the referees at the cat shows there is a question, where to refer the exotics - to short-haired cats or long-haired Persians? As a rule, they are evaluated together with short-haired cats. But this depends on the club. Because the gene of Persian long-hairedness is present in the genetic set of exotics, between their offspring have all chances to be suddenly noticed by Persians. And what do you actually create with long-haired kittens in this case? Rigid South American CFA brings them into a separate category of "unusual long-haired" kittens. But then these "long-haired exotics" have every chance of serving short-haired kittens.
These important aspects are not reinforced by some South American and European clubs. We have to trust the honesty of the breeder, who must warn about the Shorthair forefathers of your "casual" Persian kitten and notice it in the pedigree.
Silver paint of exotics is described in detail in the standards of Persian or English silver cats. This snow-white wool with dark tip highlights a similar silver color. If the blackest tips are shorter, the fur coat is lighter and the color is called "chinchilla". In case the darkest tips are more authentic, the color is called "with a silver tint".
The short beak of these cats is not as short as that of the Persians, but the public likes it more. In general, ignoring the youth, the breed of exotus uses a great triumph.
Kittens have a good chance of being on a fur coat with Tabby's markers (stripes), which disappear with age. Kittens aren't lazy lazybones, as some believe, they're alive and playful like all kittens.
The silver exotics toilet is not, for example, as complex as the Persian toilet. From one variant to another, they are washed with shampoo, and during the moulting stage they are combed with a brush of undercoat. If you do not have a heavy hand, the exot will say for you about the given, purring and squint eyes.
