Yesterday I came back from Brazil, from Rio de Janeiro. The country lags far behind Russia in its development. The locals are quite poor. But what surprised me is that they look very happy. I have never seen people in Odessa who walk on the beach and sell corn, beer, smile, and even more so I have not noticed the happiness in their eyes. Here I was surprised. They are so happy and joyful. They sang songs selling their goods. They did it so much fun that when I got home, I still remember their shouts, though I don't understand Portuguese at all. They were joking with other people on the beach, they were laughing. They were so creative in selling their goods! I thought, why are they so happy, and our Russian people, who are much wealthier and live in a more developed world, are far from being like that? Everything would be fine.
