What should be in every house: bed, kitchen, work space? The correct answer is a bathroom. Its presence in a living room is obligatory as well as walls or a ceiling. At the same time, the interior design of the "room of thoughts" is often left without due attention, but in vain. Scientists have calculated that during 70 years of life a person spends about six months in the toilet! And if combined bathrooms or separate baths people are still trying to equip somehow, the separate ones are often similar to a punishment cell for solitary confinement. But with this room begins every day of any person. How to make it so that to be in the bathroom was comfortable?
Color psychology
Complex colors always look more interesting
Most often, people choose light tones for the bathroom decoration. Firstly, because white color visually expands the space, and there is no place for a lot of it. Secondly, white color is associated with purity and lightness, does not press, does not irritate. Exceptions may be if you have a total clean white everywhere and a minimum of decor, as in the hospital. To avoid this, use milk shades, different textures and warm lighting.

The colour of textiles (towels) and mirror frames does not contradict the general idea, but adds humanity to the interior of the bathroom.
Pure white will look boring and empty if it takes up a lot of space and comes with a solid surface. For example, white paint from floor to ceiling without decoration on the walls. But figured fine tiles or mosaics of white color - a good way to avoid the feeling of emptiness.
Another chip with pure white - on its background look cool other colors. You can bring "sterile" bathroom to life with the help of bright decoration, floor trim, ceiling and furniture of contrasting shades.

Lighting in the bathroom is often underestimated, they say, "What is there to look at? And then it turns out that the light is not enough for shaving or reading is uncomfortable. And many women also find it convenient to make make up, to do styling and, in general, to clean up the bathroom. All this requires good lighting, including additional lighting.

If you design a bathroom in light tones, but you want to add something bright for an accent in the interior, you can play back on textiles in the bathroom.
