You made a mistake, and your manager lets you know, in a rude and offensive manner, and very often with witnesses that you are not fit. They point out to the subordinate his mistakes to show his superiority and importance once again. They love to focus on this, to savor the employee's miscalculations, thus humiliating him as a person. They undermine your self-confidence. And in most cases, they are completely incorrigible. Sometimes they are called corporate loyalists. Don't believe it - in fact, they're just selfish.
Well, how do you get to know someone among your colleagues above the rank? Oh, you will recognize him out of a thousand! Such a person has a maniacal delusion of greatness, he is always dissatisfied with everyone, half his assignments are absurd, and his face is stone and sour, as if he had an eternal lemon diet.
Remember the proverb: "If you want to get to know a man, give him power," I've seen a picture of self-mindedness. And, frankly, every time I was surprised at the changes. Before his promotion, the man was very friendly and was in good contact, but when he took up a more responsible position, it was as if the devil had possessed him, carrying "death and destruction".
