Do not postpone raising the puppy until later, from the first moment it is necessary to forbid the puppy to all that is forbidden to an adult dog. But you can not punish him after some time after the misconduct, the punishment should follow immediately. In order not to expose furniture and other things to the danger of being bitten, it is better to immediately allocate toys to the puppy. Let it be a large bone, better whole and without kinks, a tennis ball or just a carrot. Do not give the puppy such toys that he can gnaw or swallow.
Walking for the first time you need to go out very often: immediately after sleeping or eating, take the puppy out to the street for at least 10-15 minutes, and take long walks of 1.5–2 hours 1-2 times a day. Of course, you have already given the nickname to your dog. And now the puppy is already responding to your call. Now we need to start training teams. Commands are given in a calm low voice, without distorting the words. The first and foremost will be “Come to me” and “fu!” Then follow “sit”, “lie”, “stand”, “place”, “aport” (bring it). Teaching your puppy to play with him as much as possible. So the puppy assimilates training better and gets tired less. When raising a puppy, gradually teach him good manners. Do not let the puppy jump on you with its paws. Of course, he loves and respects you very much, but you are unlikely to understand his feelings if all his “love” remains on your clothes, especially if it is raining and dirty on the street, and the puppy just came from a walk. Do not let the puppy climb on your bed or carry tidbits from the table. If guests came to you and they liked your dog, then this does not mean that they should certainly pet or caress it. The hackneyed phrase “A dog is a friend of a person”, I think, should be understood as follows - “A dog is a friend of the owner”. And so give the puppy the opportunity to see who came, sniff the arrivals, and then send him to his place, and even better - close him in another room.
From 4–5 months of age, develop a puppy's distrustful attitude towards outsiders. To do this, ask your friends to slightly pinch the puppy by the side. Of course, he will not like this, and he will rightly “speak out” to the offender. You just have to praise the puppy for this. After several such repetitions, your pet will no longer want to make friends with strangers.
