Rottweiler comes from ancient antique dog-like dogs. Its direct ancestors are the Swiss Shepherd and the Boulinbeister (an old type of German boxer). Rottweilers were used for protection, as well as cattle drovers. This is a favorite dog for butchers and livestock traders. This dog is significantly different from a German shepherd or collie.

Rottweiler - a dog with a very pronounced self-esteem. Even the owner, he will take as equal. He is ready to die for you, but he will not yield to you to the end. All attempts to “break” it will lead to nothing, except mutual resentment. Do not try to remake it - it is useless. Accept him as a friend, appreciate his qualities. Giant Schnauzer
For the first time the Giant Schnauzers were taken out "in the light" in 1909. At an exhibition in Munich, 29 representatives of this breed aroused great interest among the public. Since all the dogs were from Munich, until 1923 this breed was called the Munich Schnauzer. In 1923, the first breed standard was adopted, in which these dogs were officially called Giant Schnauzers. Until today, the question of the exact origin of the Giant Schnauzer has not been resolved. It is only certain that in the distant past these dogs were popular in Germany and were widely bred in the southern part of the country, as well as in Austria and Switzerland. The closest relatives of the Giant Schnauzer are smooth-haired pinschers and wire-haired dogs with a “beard” and “mustache” similar to schnauzers.

Trautman gave a rather eloquent characterization to dogs of this breed in Der Hund magazine (1974, No. 7): “The Giant Schnauzer is strong, able to protect itself and its owner like a dog. Hard hair, strong limbs and a wide gait make the Giant Schnauzer a great guard dog. Respectable appearance is emphasized by growth (compared with average schnauzers). Especially valuable is the good sense of smell and instinct of struggle. The Giant Schnauzer moves a lot, this quality must be maintained and developed. Airedale
Airedale Terrier is the king of terriers, the largest of terriers. How the breed was bred in the middle of the XII century. These dogs were bred in the Air River Valley and used to hunt water rats. Many of the Air River Terriers were accustomed to rifle, searching and serving game. Sydenham Edwards in 1800 gives the following description of the terrier: “... The terrier is very cheerful and alert when it comes into action. If he does not possess the rebellious perseverance of the bulldog, then he is fast in attack, agile and agile. His actions protect himself, and his grip brings death to the enemy ... How great is his courage, so vast are his capabilities, he will follow the hounds, hunt with beagles, greyhounds and spaniels. He is an implacable enemy of wild cats, martens, ferrets, weasels and rats. He drives the otter out of the rocky cracks on the banks of the river. ”
Thus, the airedale was conceived as a hunting and sports dog. The main qualities that developed in him are courage and perseverance.
In the Valley of Air, competitions in pursuit of airedale rats were popular. These competitions attracted a huge number of spectators. They made bets on dogs, and the judge scored points.
