MYPHOLOGY

Oedipus

The gods probably think that vision distracts a man; of course, people will curse such deeds of the gods and declare them a terrible punishment: they will say that the blind old man Tiresias was always blind, and his natural physical blindness from old age will attribute to the wrath of the gods

Well, to some extent this is true: the anger of the gods and their good deeds always come together, they are inseparable, because in fact - in the gods - it is not anger and joy, love and hatred, but a divine state, whole, which we humans are deprived of

If a person has become a friend of the gods, he must be ready for a different logic, a different breath, a different way of thinking, because at these heights anger is thrown down as a mercy, and another caress - kills: but you will not die if you become a friend of God

so don't be afraid; that's why this friendship cures fear, our eternal petty human fear, which humiliates us and makes everything meaningless; don't be afraid of God and don't be afraid of death - then something can come out of your life

Tiresias, son of Ever and Haricolo, came from the family of Sparta Uday and can't tell all about himself... that's why they came up with the most beautiful legends about him - and even told him that his mother had become Athena's sweetheart, and Tiresias saw this couple in love, for which he was blinded

But maybe it is true, because human sight is limited and poor, people see only what they want to see, what their short emotions want, and sight prevents them from seeing the meaning, see the main thing, because it is seen not with pupils, but with the soul, not with external eyes, but with the inner eye, and how can these storytellers translate into human language at least this "saw Athena"? - How could Tiresias really see Athena?

The gods punish the wise man for revealing secrets that are revealed only to him; but what is the mission of the wise man to be a mere carrier of secrets? Just to carry them through the turmoil of the world, its strife and vanity?

Perhaps the whole point is that the wise man is also mistaken, believing that the mystery has already been revealed to him: it is our human words again; in fact, the mystery can only be revealed: the mind of a man cannot comprehend the mystery to the end - and there is no need for it, because then I can assume that there is a point where the wise man is, who knows all the mysteries - the wisdom similar to the gods

But this is wrong for many reasons - for example, because no one has seen such a wise man yet, and secondly, because this very "wisdom of the gods" is again just two words: no one who has heard of the gods' deeds will ever call them wise

but do we know the truth about the gods? No, of course, our ideas about them are correct and inspired by them: the gods are completely different and the wisdom of the gods is absurd, absurd, ridiculous, tautological, dead-end, in which human thought is pushed

Man goes to wisdom all his life, and his task is to go, not to look back on others and not to try to reveal to them his imperfect "truths"; not in the world of people his way, because if he returns to the world of people again, he will turn into a dwarf

And this is the strange paradox of the wise man: the more resolutely he is disgusted with the world, the more he understands people's worldly affairs and thoughts, and their passions; so that knowledge can be possessed or given away - there is no third way, so that most often those who do not possess: to understand this is the first step to real wisdom

Therefore, it is impossible to teach anybody anything, and Tiresias always refused his disciples; in fact, it is awfully naive and purely human to come to him and ask, "and he could not pass on a particle of his wisdom", because even theoretically it is impossible to pass on what you do not realize to the end and what you still learn

Similarly, it is not possible to give away a radish that is still growing; but it does not mean that one person cannot learn from another: simply, it is impossible to learn, it is possible to learn, it is possible to learn, but it is impossible to learn: it means that a pupil follows the teacher to a certain threshold, which he or she should already follow

In fact, they are both going in the same direction, and Tiresias does not believe that this is the right direction: a true disciple believes in something and sees some purpose in the distance, otherwise it is the movement of a blind man after a leader; most teachers today resemble blind guides

When talking about the gods, say they exist

Not everything you see is true, and not everything a man can certify; moreover, a man can hardly truly certify anything - he is almost sure of anything, and he began to think of ways to prove that now is the day and that he is a man, and so on.

But there is no need to prove that now is the day, but to prove that you have a living soul, you cannot, and therefore there is no need for any proof - it is a pure disease of the duck's intellect.

the same way a weak husband tries to prove that he can take over a woman, but even if he succeeds, he will
