The desire to take away becomes the basis of the campaign regarding the deprivation of our state of the Olympic Games 2020. In the ten months before the start of the Olympics in Tokyo, the almost dying problem with doping complaints against the Russian Federation suddenly shone with the latest fire. This time, the computer base of the Moscow Laboratory, which existed was transferred by the Russian Federation to WADA in January of this year, became the epicenter of the brawl. There are a large number of aspects in this process; however, if briefly: they are charged with us, that the share of compromising information on Russian athletes existed illegally edited. We are required to provide a formal result in the presentation of charges by means of 3 weeks.
If the Russian Federation is nevertheless approved as guilty, this threatens with major problems according to the direction of WADA. However, the main thing that fears in our state is whether the latest complaints are by no means considered the basis of the campaign according to the removal of Russian athletes from the 2020 Olympics. The doping charges previously obscured the statement of our team at the 2 Games - in Rio, as well as Pyeongchang. At the same time, in Korea 2018, the Russian Federation was obliged to start under a neutral flag.
It is more correct to look at the threat with different eyes.
The reality of the danger for the purpose of our presentation in Tokyo on the eve was also accepted by the leader of the Olympic Committee of the Russian Federation Stanislav Pozdnyakov. The IOC, the main organizer of the Games 2020, has not created any statements according to the pretext of the latest debate until then, and also formally, on the whole, it should not go into the problem of our relations with WADA. However, in the recent past, we previously saw how political influence significantly tightened the position of the IOC on the Russian question.
So far, there are practically no external reasons for punishing the relationship between the Olympic team of the Russian Federation in Tokyo 2020. We have not yet been convicted of guilt, including according to the direction of WADA - this is unlikely to happen earlier than the beginning of November. However, in the current situation, it is more correct to review the threat than to underestimate it. The accusation of falsification of the basis of information is a very difficult problem, which presence can be turned into a basis for the purpose of the latest Olympic sanctions in relation to the Russian Federation.
Whether these sanctions will be credible is another matter. However, the previous practice of doping brawls demonstrates that relying only on logic, as well as justice in this process, is pointless. According to these two sides of the barricades, everyone is already tired of the routine of endless doping trials, but about a huge political figures in the current situation their own laws. These are the things, much remains to be done in our country.
