Such hotels offer an all-inclusive soft food system (i.e. all inclusive except alcoholic beverages). Which is also convenient and the head about food does not hurt ... hotels offer breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. For older children, a separate menu, and in some hotels a separate restaurant! Soft drinks - around the clock.
In general, having read above the roof, I believed that a trip for at least a couple of days to such a wonderful place is the only right decision .... at first my husband was critical, but still I managed to convince him and we started to choose a hotel.
It must be said that mainly such specialized hotels for families with children and infants are located in Germany, Austria and Italy (South Tyrol). I think this is due to the fact that in Europe, grandmothers are not really in a hurry to help their children get involved with their grandchildren. They usually have their own lives with their plans, and even the appearance of granddaughters cannot add confusion to their orderly routine!
The price offers in such hotels vary depending on the stardom, location, programs for activities with children and so on.
We found the Baby Mio baby hotel in Tirol (Austria) acceptable for us. The main thing was not only the price-quality ratio and reviews of vacationers, but also travel time. We understood that the optimal travel time for us is no more than 4 hours!
HURRAH! As much as 4 days of rest with then another 2 month old baby! Some may think - abnormal parents, I myself would probably have reacted like this before, but now I understand that a child, even a baby, is the same person as we all are, just a little one, and stressed parents have not benefited anyone . In general, my maternal heart and my intuition said: “Yes!” And we set off with a light heart.
As a result, we did not regret it. Perhaps, only that 4 days passed quickly unnoticed. However, we managed to recover from postpartum stress and the first months of “parenthood”.
We visited with our baby a baby massage and baby swimming (courses were already included in the price), which brought him a lot of bliss.
We gave him the maximum time, because there was no need to be distracted by household chores - washing, cooking, cleaning, etc.
Instead, we walked a lot with the baby in the surroundings, enjoyed new landscapes and wonderful views of the Alps (the hotel is located near the famous ski resort Kitzbühel Alpen).
And even made a march to the cheese factory 5 km from the hotel.
There we were waited by the replaced local cheeses - Big and little stinky! (the real name of the cheese! Großer und Kleiner Stinker)
The only time in 4 days they used the baby club and gave the baby for 2 hours under the supervision of professional nannies on the day of our wedding, dined for the first time after giving birth together and took time for each other. We just talked about everything that had accumulated over these months and realized that we needed this time for ourselves.
However, these 2 hours seemed strange to us ... as if something was missing.
So after 2 hours skipping, they ran after the cub to the baby club! Who would have thought that we would miss you so much!
And that too was a little discovery. It’s not so easy to part with your own child, even for a couple of hours! Thoughts constantly return to him.
It was the beginning of July. It’s a kind of off-season in Tirol, so we were lucky - a family room for 4 nights with All Inclusive software cost 700 euros for three.
Having rested from the cares of the righteous, we returned home, determined to consolidate our success in the near future by a second trip to the baby hotel.
