Every new year, we .... with friends .... we don’t go to the bathhouse, but calmly with our family (whatever the incident would happen) we leave for ourselves in the mountains. Skiing, breathing fresh air, New Year's decor to meet beautifully, “walking” children, looking at people, and, as they say, showing yourself!
In that year, it was decided to go to Italy, to the Dolomites - beautiful, snowy and alluring. We have never been to a ski resort in Italy before, and this trip promised us a new direction: we were looking forward to enjoying Italian cuisine, the beauty of the Dolomites and the full bella vita mood. We ordered everything in advance, already in August - both the hotel and the flight and transfer, etc. etc.
The time was approaching winter and our "harsh" evenings began, when autumn got stuck somewhere in the throat of nature - and neither there nor there .... rains, wind, darkness .... you were going to work in the morning - still night?! Come back - it's night already ?! .... Ah! Hurry to the Dolomites.
Dolomites promised 10 days of complete happiness.

“Honey, is it enough for us ten days? Look how Russia walks - until January 11th! Are we worse? Let's take another five days? ”Said the mother of the family (in my person), by the way, having every right to do so, because of her ability to work and equal contribution to family business (hehe).
Well, in general, everyone knows the truth: what a woman wants, God wants it!
That's it .... and my spouse has already learned it almost to the end. )) Therefore, our vacation was urgently extended!

Of course, to find something useful in the Alps for 5 days during the first week of January, and even to do it in mid-December, is simply not realistic. BUT I AM LUCKY !! )) Even, one might say, fabulously lucky. The Zell Am See resort, a 5 star hotel, a family suite for the period from January 2 to 7 confirmed our reservation. Conditions: 100% prepayment and cancellation NOT possible!
In my normal condition, I never book a hotel on a 100% prepayment basis, and even irrevocable. But that case was an exception and, taking into account the late armor, the high season and the great desire to extend the New Year’s gurney, made me "go all out." I gave the hotel a credit card number of our company and verify number, which in principle guaranteed them the withdrawal of the required amount from the account sooner or later.
The cost of this attraction was approximately 5,000 euros, as far as I remember. In general, expensive. A piece of euro per day! Well, you know .... a 5 star hotel, the very top season, etc. etc. In principle, the price for that period is market, I would say ... and many at the same time throw me hats. Well, God be with her, with a price. As you celebrate the New Year, you will spend it. Truth? Well they say so ....
Rush hour was approaching. Departure in a couple of days. Waiting for the snowy Alps - first Italian and then Austrian - wow !!! What could be cooler! I even started packing my bags in advance)) hehe. Opened suitcases lying around the apartment create an extraordinary atmosphere. I love this stage. Already the brain is not here, but physically not there. Already with the brains - there, but physically still here ...
And just in this state of semi-flight, we receive by mail a court decision to block the company’s account and a bailiff’s order (addressed to our bank) on the enforcement of the court’s decision.
The condition of a half-fly smoothly turns into a semi-panic.
I will not tell and torment you with details for what reason, what happened and why this happened, because it is not really interesting to anyone - I understand. But, the fact itself - the account is blocked and all the money that was on the company's account at that time was sent to the bailiff. Moreover, all incoming amounts will also be sent to the bailiff and the account will be blocked until the next court decision. And the trial will, of course, be scheduled for the new year. How long did the fairy tale tell, how long did the work go on, questions were resolved and in such a suspended state with cash (thank God, enough money) we went to the Alps without looking at anything! To all enemies in spite! Fun and fun to meet the new year. )))
Dolomites did their job and we forgot about everything. Val Gardena is a wonderful resort. Hotel Savoy with its atmosphere even more decorated our holidays in Italy. And the gurney is good, and lucky with the weather, and the hotel was not mistaken. About Italian cuisine, even to speak separately does not make sense. 10 days passed quickly and when the time came for the county, we were glad that there would still be five days in Austria. Austrian resorts are beyond competition (in our opinion at that time) and Zell Am See should be at least no worse, but actually even better.
With full confidence in a beautiful tomorrow, we said goodbye to Val Gardena and set off for Zell Am See.
