So, every season, at least once, my friends and I go skiing somewhere in the mountains. As a rule, these are the Alps, Italian, French, Austrian ... True, there have been both Sweden and Norway, and if anyone is interested in impressions - just tell me, and I will describe the advantages and disadvantages of those places where I had to plow the snowy slopes. And I plowed not only with skis but also with shoulder joints, forearms, lower backs, face, as well as the place where "the back loses its noble name."
Well, it’s also possible to fall on such a track, although it’s difficult, this is for beginners. Glacier ski area. It is not bad here, but there are always a lot of people and get through the lifts for a long time.
Those times when skiing was the destiny of the elite have long passed and now if there is extra money for ski equipment and a ticket to the nearest slope - do not miss the time! It seems to me that in winter this is one of the best ways to experience the joy of life! Around the snow, the sun, mountains, blue sky and wind whistles in the face ...
However, this does not seem to be the wind at all, but a whistle in the headphones. My buddy whistles on the radio that I didn’t stop there, missed the necessary slope (track) and right now I will fall on the freeride slope for children, where I can’t get my skis ... Oops! We turn and cut a little to get on the track. It’s good when you have everything you need, and you can chat with friends remotely. By the way, once, the walkie-talkie played a cruel joke with us and we were almost sent to jail (as Pastor Schlag). It also happened in Switzerland, in Geneva, though after skiing, but as they say, we resolved the situation and now we remember it as a funny adventure.
So, Sölden. A small town in the Austrian Alps, or even a village, but well-equipped and comfortable. A lot of ski areas, and slopes for different skills: from light blue for beginners to black. The gradation is this: blue for beginners, red for skilled, black for experts. Honestly, the blacks there are more like the serious reds. There are still many areas for the so-called "off-piste" skiing - for puff, a free ride between the stones, but this is already for young fans.
if you don’t follow the flags indicating the tracks, you can find yourself on a freeride slope. But someone always wants it hotter.
The tracks are prepared at night and if you get up early in the morning, eat muesli and two bananas, you are the first to be on the lift, then it is you who use your skis to cut a thin crispy caramel crust sliced by a snowcat. Indescribable feeling!
And this is a view opening from the upper station, fog, wind and immediately there is a feeling of unreality and unearthly dangerous wild beauty.
In general, I must say that if the weather is good- Frost and sun, a wonderful day, then skiing is one of the best types of recreation, and there are still such landscapes ... and strange clouds!
Nature gave Austria excellent landscapes - mountains, forests, streams and rivers in the valleys. This is the real Tyrol. Austrians take care of nature and take care, therefore tourists bring down here both in the winter and in the summer. If in the winter there are good lies, then in the summer crazy cyclists come and arrange bicycle coils on the same steep tracks already. And they no longer fall in soft snow, but you yourself know, on the ground and on hard roots.
As a rule, from the guest house to the ski lift it is very close and you can walk without removing the ammunition, which everyone does. All the houses - if you can call it three-story mansions - are rented by the owners to skiers, and in summer to cyclists. This is such a homeowners business. I imagine that we would immediately have a general investor, that I would like to buy everything and build a huge hotel. But the Austrians are wiser - every time there is a piece of income and everyone pays taxes. Everyone is happy.
As you probably already know, only mountains can be better than mountains ... Here, like nowhere else, you realize your small ant essence (compared to nature, of course) and you want to become better, cleaner, finally go in for daily sports, conquer the summit ... What am I talking about? Oh yes - mountain sickness must have appeared.
Here are the many ski areas in Sölden. Top left - the so-called glacier and go there through many lifts for a long time - about an hour. And here in the middle on the right there are few remarkable red tracks and dummies, on the right - the Gigiyech zone there is not bad in the sun and there are black tracks that we mastered.
