You today my (Continuation of history 11)

"I loved you, Eva Farlow, I loved you. And I guess you never loved me..."

Roger fell silent, wondering where his beloved might be.

Ten minutes later, Jim stormed into the apartment. Blond nervously rolled his eyes and said:

- Look who's here! The man who decides everything with bribes! Bravo, Jim! Roger lit a cigarette and stared at the boy's reaction.

"What's he doing here?" said black Roger, asking Emma.

"We came to see how Eva was, but we found out she was missing," Rosalie said.

Jim sat down opposite his opponent, and they stared at each other as if they were playing a game of staring.

"Guys, come on," Emma yelled, " eve's gone, and you guys are freaking out."

— If it hadn't been for that damned drummer, there wouldn't have been a hospital situation or this. I'm sure you're the reason she disappeared, " Jim said.

Rosalie got up and went out into the street, aware that a scandal was brewing.

— One more word and you'll be carried out of here feet first, understand?" began to boil Rog.

"Are you trying to scare me?" Ha, sure. Money talks! You're loaded! Decided this eve to catch? Because you're a star?

"You're the one who's throwing money around, fiance." "Did you really think Eva was going to be your fiancee?" Ha ha! Look at you, you jerk!

"What did you say?" "let's go outside and talk about it."

- Easy! - don't hesitate, responded blond.

Jim ran out into the street as the drummer came up to Emma and asked, " what's the matter?":

"Where do eve's parents live?"

"Norwich, why?"

"She's probably there." I'll go there and find out.

Emma shook her head and wondered why she hadn't immediately guessed that eve might have gone to her hometown.

As soon as he stepped outside, he noticed that Jim was gone.

"Where did he go?" Roger asked his sister, who was standing by the car.

"He's gone somewhere," Rosalie said.

— Who would doubt, — said the blond and immediately turned to my sister — I know where eve is. I'll take you home now, and then I'll go to her hometown.

"Where did she come from?"

— Set. I'll explain on the way, " Roger said, and got behind the wheel of the car.

Long after midnight the boy was in Norwich. Roger had never been here before, but he easily found an Inn and went to bed.

In the morning he decided to start looking for Eva's house. Leaving the car in the Parking lot, he walked to get some fresh air and clear his head. Town proved enough large, but cozy. Most people rode bicycles here. It was very difficult to find Eva here without knowing the address.

Roger saw a group of twelve-year-old girls playing in the Playground. He decided to ask them about eve, just in case he got lucky.

— Good morning. I'm not from around here, can you help me? — politely asked the guy from the company.

Roger Taylor? "is that you?" asked one of the girls.

"Right," the boy laughed.

Can I autograph?

Blond signed almost have all girls from companies in small notebooks, and then again asked:

— What about help?"

"I'm listening," one of them said.

— I'm here looking for the Farlows." Maybe someone knows where they live?

"Why?" "what is it?" asked a small, fair-haired girl.

"I want to talk to Eva Farlow," Roger said.

"So this is my sister."

The boy couldn't believe his ears. It was simple enough.

"Come with me, Mr. Taylor."

"Just call me Roger."

"Well, my name is Martha.

Very nice, now tell me, where is your flower shop? I don't want to show up empty-handed.

Martha accompanied the drummer to a flower shop, where he bought two gorgeous bouquets of white roses. One for eve and one for Mrs. Farlow.

Chapter 6.

After sitting long enough by Rick's grave, I decided to take a walk. Once outside the cemetery, I headed downtown to my home school. Norwich High School for Girls is quite an ordinary educational institution for girls, where about 200 people study. Later, I moved to another school, where both boys and girls studied. There I finished the last class.

My school years were quite bright and memorable. I studied well, but I also had time to misbehave. A couple of times my friends and I were caught in the toilets, where we all smoked in a crowd, and then called the parents. My mother did not even try to reprimand me for a bad habit, saying that this is my health and I live with it. I was glad I didn't have to sneak around and hide cigarettes from my parents.

I had a best friend at the time, whose name was rose. We sat together at the same Desk, a lot of walking after school, and even sometimes instead of them. And then rose met this guy who, to put it mildly, changed her not for the better. She was often absent from school for weeks. Even parents didn't know where she could be. But one day, I was walking home when I saw my friend. She looked strange — her clothes stained, even torn in places, her hair carelessly braided, which had evidently not been washed long enough, large bruises under her eyes, and her skin pale. I walked over to rose, but she didn't even recognize me. A year later, the girl died of a drug overdose. All of our mutual friends started blaming the guy rose got involved with, but he kind of disappeared after she died. I missed her, but at that moment I was with my boyfriend Rick, who comforted and could always help. But he was gone…

Remembering a lot of other moments in my life, I heard someone call out to me.

"I can't believe it," I said. How nice to see you!

I ran across the street and threw myself into the arms of my classmate.

— Eve! And I am glad to see you — " answered the brown-haired man. You could have called.

Jack was a year older than me, with brown hair, green eyes, and a gorgeous smile. When we were in high school, half the girls were in love with the guy, and he didn't care because he didn't believe in love.

— Yes, recently here, — I smiled, — well, tell me, how are you?

It's fine. I have my own coffee shop here, and I also play basketball sometimes.

- You do not change — I laughed — all the girls froze when you went to school on the court, played amazing.

— Do not exaggerate, — I waved away the man, — tell me, how are you? What're you doing?

"I live in London. The business unfortunately went bankrupt, I didn't want to go into details of yours?

I pointed to the black Audi.

— Yes, recently bought, still smiling, replied Jack.

Suddenly a familiar car came around the bend. My heart skipped a beat — it was Roger.

— Damn! Come quickly! I shouted, and slapped him lightly on the shoulder.

"Who's that?" he glanced at the approaching car.

- There's no time to explain! Can I drive?

"Of course, get pregnant!"

As soon as we jumped into the car, I hurried off. I well drove, for this can be say "thank you" my father. I picked up enough speed to laugh. Jack looked at me in surprise.

"Can you explain why we're stealing from this man?" brown hair asked.

I glanced in the rearview mirror.

- You know a band like Queen? I asked my classmate.

"Of course! I'm a fan. But what does that have to do with this situation?

— One of the contestants is driving that car right now."

- Really? And who?

— Taylor.

Roger Taylor? Oh my God! Are you for real? - Jack watched on me in both.

I laughed instead.

— What's he doing here?" Have you met?

"Yes, he's my boyfriend!" I replied with a pleased face.

"I can't believe it." Jack laughed.

It gave me pleasure to play such games. I can imagine Roger freaking out in the car right now.

"Eve, we're going at breakneck speed!" Come to your senses! God forbid we fly into a ditch! — started to panic the guy.

"Why, Jack! Mr. Taylor will pay all expenses if anything goes wrong, " I said.

I knew Roger would do anything for me, even if I crashed someone's car, he would make it up to me. Jack kept looking back to see behind them a drummer. At one point, he said,:

"You can turn off the gas, the car's out of sight."

Getting out of the car, I leaned over and lit a cigarette:

"Isn't that great?" I was grinning.

"You're crazy, eve —" my friend said, laughing.

I know. Everyone says so. Hey, is there a good bar around here? I want to get drunk, " I said seriously.

"I'm enjoying this day more and more," Jack said, " but I'm driving now."

Thank you for attention!
