For many years now I have been impressed by the dirndl. Although I understand that it’s impossible to use it except for role-playing games: well, how can you imagine yourself on this street ?!
Maybe the word is unfamiliar, but this is what everyone saw. This is the name of the traditional women's costume of the German-speaking alpine regions: southern Germany (Bavaria), Austria, and the eastern cantons of Switzerland. It consists of a blouse with a tight corset and a fluffy skirt with an apron. But what to describe: we recall the outfit of the girls at Oktoberfest - this is it, dirndl, that is!
To buy this miracle as home clothes - there is not enough house on the alpine slopes. Yes, and there is such a kit where it is not cheap: to give two thousand euros for some dirndl - in the order of things. On sale hangers in front of shops, discounted blouses - the cheapest part of the costume - we did not meet for less than 100-150 euros.
In Bad Ischl, we saw a store selling clothes styled as national Austrian outfits, and women's clothing included items from men's wardrobes: trousers made of natural fabrics, vests, jackets, ties and scarves. It looks insanely stylish and out of fashion, but it costs such money! Like a new collection of some gucci or dolcegaban (jacket - about a thousand euros). In general, it is impractical and inhumane - but so tempting.
By the way, the coolest part of the men's alpine costume - textbook leather shorts - is found here not only in shop windows, but also on quite living people. And even swimming trunks were seen, stylized for this business.
An incredible number of women in dirndls were found in Bad Auzsee - mostly women in the tourism sector were dressed like that.
We slipped through the narrow streets of this city several times on the way to Grundlsee, Attersee, Bad Ischl, etc.
Of course, we could not stop to please ourselves and those around us with a walk through this resort town. See how happy we are ?!
Bad Auzsee is located on the river Traun flowing from the Grundlsee (this lake can be found in the report “Fifty Shades of Green” - turbina.ru/authors/begun12/tr…).
One of the mysteries of the twentieth century is connected with Bad Aussee.
It is here that the traces of train 277 are lost, in which, according to legend, the Nazis at the end of the war tried to take out countless treasures of the Third Reich from Germany. Moreover, this legend is completely groundless: in the seventies, a bar of gold for twelve and a half kilograms was found in Lake Grundlsee - it seems to be from that same train.
And in 1983 a fantastic story happened: in the vicinity of Bad Aussee, tourists found a house on the forest edge. What's the catch? The fact that his roof was made of gold bars!
I would venture to suggest that the enthusiasm for hiking after this event in the vicinity of Bad Aussee and Grundlsee radically exceeded the indicators of previous years.
In the old building on the main square of the city there is a local history museum telling about the local history and traditions of salt production: let's not forget that the Salzkammergut region got rich in this extremely profitable industry.
Bad Aussee, like all other Austrian cities, is buried in flowers and greenery.
But he also has a unique feature - a completely modern bridge (across the Traun River) in the form of a Mercedes sign. This is where aerial photography is definitely needed!
