Gameplay
The game offers twelve unique tracks, which are divided into four cups. The cup consists of three tracks. At the end of each race, you will be awarded some points, which depends on your position. After the third heat, all points are summed up and the winner is determined. In order to win the cup and access the next one, you must finish first in at least two heats. Of course, with each new cup, the difficulty of the game increases.
However, the game is difficult for the most part because the player can not get used to the management. Local physics, of course, you can get used to, but it does not cancel the fact that it cracks at the seams.
In addition to the career mode, you can try out a few more. For example, the mission mode, as it is not difficult to guess, will make you go through the tracks in a special way - to collect some collector's item, go through the track without a scratch, and so on. After you complete the task and take the top position in the race, you will be opened to missions in subsequent levels. This is necessary not only to raise your self-esteem, but also to gain access to hidden characters and additional maps.
The next mode is pretty funny, though brutal. It's a mode where you have to make a few laps on a particular track, with the last driver dropping out at the end of each laps. This happens until there is only one competitor left in the race.
It is followed by a mode that is quite usual for racing for a while. Here you will go alone. You are required to drive the track for a minimum period of time. After you set a record, the ghost of your racer will appear on the level. The next time you can beat it, it will be replaced by your new record. And so to infinity. Perfectionists here will bite off all the nails!
There is another curious game mode. In this mode you will have to collect crystals to race with the others until the stopwatch hand reaches zero. The winner is the one who has gained the most jewels.
Finally, the craziest mode! In it you have to drive all twelve tracks in one salvo. It would seem to be nothing complicated. But the task is complicated by the fact that all levels are united by a global timer. If you are only at level six, and the clock shows zero minutes and zero seconds, you will have to go through it again. But don't be so afraid, there are many ways to restore the timer.
The final mode will appeal to those who hang out behind the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series as kids. Here you will be awarded points only for the tricks you do - jumps, gliding and the like. The more quality and complexity your tricks are, the more points you get!
Music and sound
The music in Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2 is as crazy as the game itself. Arrangement of all compositions is qualitative and caresses the rumor, but the melodies themselves are not suitable. They are more like background music for a movie than the soundtrack for a racing game. Too much difference in style confuses. On top of that, the soundtrack is just tiny! I understand that it's not very fair to demand from a mobile game as from a stationary one, but ten minutes of music for the whole game is a shame. I'm not saying that the tracks are made up of endlessly repeating forty-second pieces, and they're getting slower than you can imagine. The only joy is the main theme. It's a remix of the opening song from Crash Twinsanity that's very bold and well processed. It charges with positive energy and gives a good mood. Otherwise, unfortunately, the soundtrack is not of any interest. The sound is made at a good level. Noises sound convincing. However, some zest is still missing here.

Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2 is a game that tries to remind about the former greatness of the bandit. Unfortunately, it is limited by the specifics of mobile devices from all sides. Nevertheless, it is obviously not thoughtless copying of other people's ideas and attempt to leave at the expense of a known brand. The game offers a lot of curious modes and a couple of inventive routes. The choice among riders would like more, but the current menu is not critical. Unfortunately, interesting findings are overshadowed by weak physics. It is this physics that shortens the life cycle of Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2. Besides the unsuccessful management, the project suffers from fresh and pesky music. Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2 can be recommended only for those who missed racing with marsupial, but for some unknown reason can't outplay in Crash Team Racing.
